  When it comes to great service and great attitude, I would like to share a wonderful experience I had at a kimono shop. My mother and I visited a kimono shop in Matsue. The service here and the attitude of the staff were really amazing. First of all, the store owner Kato San contacted me via WhatsApp after I made a reservation online, and he could also arrange pick-up to the store at the JR station on the same day. The clerk greeted me warmly and assisted me quickly. Their smiles and friendly manner immediately made me feel welcome. Not only were they happy to answer all my questions, they also patiently explained the details of kimono types, selection and matching. During the process of choosing a kimono, the store clerk paid careful attention to my personal preferences and body characteristics, and provided recommendations that suited me based on this information. Not only that, they also carefully adjusted the size of the kimono to make sure I fit it perfectly. They even showed me how to wear a kimono correctly and gave me some valuable tips and advice. The atmosphere inside the store is very comfortable and peaceful. This makes the entire selection process easier and more enjoyable. The decoration inside the store also created an elegant atmosphere that made me feel like I was in the ancient times of Japan. The weather was not perfect that day and it was pouring rain. Kata San and the store clerk proactively offered to take us to the nearby Matsue Castle to check in and take photos, so that we would not be embarrassed. After staying in Matsue Castle for a while, Kata San took us to a restaurant he recommended for lunch. After changing back to my clothes, I prepared for the next trip. I originally planned to go to Izumo Taisha Shrine, but I was afraid that traveling with my mother would be too far and tiring. However, Kata San highly recommended this place and said that if we really wanted to go, they could give us a ride. to the nearby tram stop. Unfortunately, we were too slow and missed the tram. Kata San actually drove to the next tram stop to ensure that we could catch this tram! During the process, my mother dropped a pill, and Kata San even went to buy it for us and give it to us on the return trip! Just in tears!!!! Overall, the service of this kimono shop and the attitude of the staff are definitely worthy of praise. They go beyond ordinary service to fully demonstrate the enthusiasm and attitude of the Japanese people and provide an unforgettable experience and memories with excellent service. I highly recommend this kimono shop, it will be an unbeatable choice.

  The kimono experience was wonderful! There were 100s of kimonos to choose from and the delightful women that dressed us were kind, very experienced in dressing people in kimonos. The description of the experience said that our hair would also be done, which is was, but the young women did an absolutely awful job. Kimonos are not the most comfortable thing to wear. I'm on the overweight side and in order to have the kimono drape properly across my body, it was cinched tight. The obi (sash) is thick and goes around your waist making it difficult to bend over. That was on me, not the experience, but it's a really good idea to know that and to also go to the bathroom before they dress you.

  I dreamt since I was a kid to try on Kimono, and it came true with Horikawa Komachi. I enjoyed walking around Matsue Castle with the Kimono on. As a girl wearing a head scarf, I really appreciate that the staff totally understood that I want to keep the scarf on me, even though it may change the originality of the garment appearance.   This is a greater experience for me as second time. I wore kimono from this place on August ,2021 too. That day and today they provide us great service, the kindness ,patience they had with us, and the way they dress us was beyond our expectation. I will go their in future to wear Yukata again. Highly recommended for both Japanese and Foreghiner people..

  The store offers a wide variety of kimono, hakama, and accessories. The kind people will help you with the selection and assembly of your outfit, and will style your hair, too. Walking around the area surrounding Matsue castle in traditional clothing is a very special experience.

  This was my first time wearing kimono, and it was a lovely experience! The shop had a wide variety of colors and patterns to choose from, and the staff were all helpful in putting together a cohesive look according to style preference. After getting dressed and having our hair done, we walked the grounds around Matsue Castle. It felt really special to be able to learn about and view historical locations while dressed in kimono. I especially enjoyed being able to drink matcha while enjoying a leisurely cruise around the castle. I recommend this experience to anyone who is looking to fully explore traditional Japanese culture. This experience made me feel closer and more connected to the history of the prefecture I live in. Shimane is often overlooked by tourists, but there is plenty of rich history and gorgeous scenery if you know where to look!

  The staff were very friendly and kind. I had been to different kimono rental shops before and no one ever tried to do anything with my hair because it is so short. This shop helped make my hair look pretty which made me very happy. They also tried to help me coordinate a hakama with my favorite color. One gentleman even took professional looking photos of me and my tour guide which were very beautiful. And to end the day after returning the hakama, we were given snacks to take home as thanks. I highly recommend this shop if you want to rent kimono or hakama!
