  So much fun. We went to 4 distinctly different places all with its own charm. Our tour guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable on the area as well as the venues we visited. I highly recommend this tour.

  Our guide, Marianne, was amazing! She was so much fun! We had such an amazing time on our tour! All of the locations were so beautiful and amazing. We really enjoyed our time and would highly recommend.

  My husband and I had a wonderful private tour with Marianne. She picked us up at our VRBO and we visited a couple vineyards, cidar farm, whiskey and craft beer tastings. She even adjusted the plans when she heard we had already visited one of the places she had pre-planned. She was pleasant, friendly, and informative. She ensured we were well taken care of and enjoyed our time. Lots of great libations and scenery! Thank you Marianne!

  Great tour with Marianne. We saw places on the island we would have never even thought of going to. It was such an enjoyable afternoon with many different tastings. Would highly recommed this tour to anyone.

  It was a lovely afternoon with Marianne exploring different spots on the island to get a nice drink. We learned a lot about the different types of drinks as well as the local history. Would definitely recommend this tour and may even rebook ourselves next time we visit.

  Our Tour started prompt on time with a pick up from our Hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Marianne was taking the tour and that it was a personalised one with just us and her as our Guide and Driver. Snacks, water and plenty of friendly warm conversation was supplied during the Tour between Vineyards etc. and we are delighted to say it was this personal touch that made this Tour stand out from the rest, and made our Holiday that bit more memorable. I know next time we travel to Canada, Victoria will be on the agenda and in particular another Tour with Beyond The City Tours with Marianne Fish.

  When I booked this tour I expected a “shared” tour similar to winery tours that we have taken in the past. We were pleasantly surprised when Marianne picked us up at our B&B that was a private tour. At the first stop we were treated to a personally guided tasting of many of the spirits that de Vine Wine & Spirits produces. The next stop at Sea Cider Farm and Ciderhouse was a bit of a disappointment after the great experience at de Vine. Marianne had arranged a lunch for us there which was good but the cider tasting was self guided. Apparently we were supposed to receive more personal attention from the staff. After lunch we visited Deep Cove Winery. Once again, we got the personal treatment from the tasting room staff and got to taste some very good local wines. We finished the tour at Victoria Distillery on the Sidney waterfront. We were booked on one of the regular distillery tours but since we were the only ones there for a tour at that time, we got a private tour of the facility and a private tasting of there spirits. After the tasting we were able to sit on their patio and enjoy a G & T made with one of their gins. A perfect end to a good day. We enjoyed this tour and our guide, Marianne.
