What To Expect
Royal Palace
カンボジア王室の本拠地であり、国の象徴でもある見事な王宮を探索します。熱帯植物が植えられ、キラリと光る尖塔が散りばめられた美しい王室庭園の中で始まります。私たちは王室のレセプションが開催され、カンボジア王の戴冠式が行われた玉座ホールに入ります。その後、19世紀のフランス皇帝からの贈り物である鉄で作られたナポレオン3世のパビリオンを通過します。銀の塔は、床を覆う5000の銀のタイルにそれぞれ由来し、それぞれの重さが1kgです。中には、国内で最も大切にされている宝物がいくつかあります。これには、等身大の金の仏像に9584のダイヤモンドがちりばめられており、最大の重量は25カラットです。
Wat Phnom Daun Penh
ワット プノン寺院は、裕福な未亡人ダウン ペン (ペンのおばあちゃん) によって設立された聖域です。ダウン ペンは 1372 年に 5 体の仏像が入った丸太を川から引き上げ、寺院を建てるために彼女の所有地の一部を嵩上げするよう命じました。彫像を安置するため。その後、ペンおばあちゃんと村人たちは改宗して山の頂上に寺院を建て、4 体の仏像を寺院に持ち帰りました。一方、丘の東にある神社には女神の立像が安置されていました。やがて、ここは人々が祝福と祈りを捧げる神聖な場所、聖域となりました。

5.00We had a fantastic day out exploring the highlights of Phnom Penh with our tour guide Ms. Neang. Although a slightly more Somber day due to the sights visited like the genocide museum and the killing fields, we felt we walked away educated about the horrible past that the cambodian people endured during the 70s. Our guide was brilliant, she came with a wealth of knowledge and stories and we thank her for that. Our group would highly reccomend this tour and our guide Ms. Neang.

5.00Royal palace has been closed since Covid issue so our tour guide suggested us on visit Wat Phnom and Independent monument instead. It was a great trip in Phnom Penh. Our tour guide Shilong was so nice and friendly.
