  What and enjoyable evening on with water with our host Alex and Slyvia as our captain expertly moved us up and down the coast. We enjoy spectacular scenery, lively conversation and made new friends with Alex and Slyvia as they shared information and personal stories with us as as the sun slowly defended, providing us a beautiful sunset.   We went with work team, it was absolutely wonderful! The team (Alex and Ines) were great - we had nice chat and some information on what we are passing by while also having plenty of space to catch up within our group (if you have ever done trips with the guide who thinks he has to be cracking annoying jokes every 20 seconds you will appreciate this for a change). We could play our music, we were 7 and were able to sit on the benches around the table around the front of the boat. This was definitely a highlight of our trip, everybody absolutely loved it. We booked directly (they have some extra food/drinks options as well) and the company had answered all of our questions very thoroughly and quickly which was a great green flag. I am very happy we did it with this company, we had lots of fun.

  Also it was cloudy and chilly, we had a relaxing evening and view of the city from the river and the commentary. Appreciated the blankets!

  Superb evening for 11 aboard the sailboat with 2 skippers (Alex and David) who are very friendly and really attentive. The boat is very well appointed We spent 2 hours on board They gave us information about the city and enjoyed the walk with a lovely aperitif with music. We will keep excellent memories of it and if I come back to Lisbon I will come back! thanks again

• Poor Experience with Marlin Lisbon

  Unfortunately we had a poor experience with Marlin. The young staff (crew) were pleasant and great, but management and administration was very poor. Staff were disorganized and we were ultimately ushered on to the wrong, older, smaller and poorly maintained boat - and at no reduction. When we returned from the two-hour tour, the office staff were gone (9pm). The boat was old, dirty, and poorly maintained. The lavatory was gross. The few, gentle follow-up messages sharing of our dissatisfaction were met with no response. The company seems bent on taking advantage of tourists to Lisbon. This is the first time I’ve ever written a negative review, but I’ll wish to save others similar disappointment. Find an alternative, good experience and enjoy!
