Private tour down the coastline to the Temple of Poseidon

5.00Giannis was a terrific driver and guide for our trip down the coastline to the Temple of Poseidon. He shared interesting information along the route and we loved the unexpected stop to see the beautiful lake. We are so glad that we got to see the coastline which was such a different perspective compared to the big city of Athens. Highlight of the trip was our sunset dinner by the shore on the way home at a long term family restaurant. Tried scorpion fish for the first time and it was outstanding. Would definitely recommend Giannis for future tours!

5.00Fantastic day. Peter was our host and it really was like spending a day with an old friend. Very knowledgeable and friendly and nothing was a bother. Anything that could have been done to make the day better was done. We were never rushed and always guided but Peter was very conscious of giving us our own space to explore and enjoy the experience which we appreciated. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. There are slightly cheaper tours but if you’re going to all the effort to get to Athens and really want to see Delphi and Thermopylae then choose this tour and ask for Peter.

5.00My wife and I visited Athens in Aug 2025, from México, it was our first time in the city, so we wanted to make sure that we had a nice and enjoyable first day, to have a glance of the MUST temples and things to know, our driver Spyros outdid himself, he was beyond amazing, very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and had a beautiful attitude ✨ Spyros arrived in perfect time, drove carefully always, he was very kind every step of the way!

We loved exploring the Acropolis and ended the day with a breathtaking sunset at the Temple of Poseidon. Comfortable transport, excellent service, and unforgettable memories—highly recommended!

Our driver Mihalis was exceptional—extremely knowledgeable, professional, and engaging. He shared fascinating insights about Athens’ rich history, making every stop even more meaningful. Highlights included the Acropolis, the serene Athens Riviera, and the breathtaking Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio where the sunset views were just magical. The tour was perfectly paced, allowing us to truly enjoy each moment. We highly recommend this experience with this company to anyone visiting Athens—it’s an absolute must!

3.00The title says private tour, but what it should have stated was "entertaining driver will take you sites, then drop you off to explore sites on your own". The driver did not enter the sites with us, direct us to unique areas or provide us with studied information. George (nice guy) took us from site to site, where we had to buy our own tickets, not included in the tour price, and explore on our own. It was a very expensive taxi service. Not what I was expecting for a "private tour".
