5.004 adults booked this tour together, and it was just us. We were a little apprehensive about the length of time, needlessly so. Lucy is a fantastic guide. She was raised in Germany and France, has lived in Japan for 7 years and speaks fluent English. We toured the Omicho market, the three key neighborhoods of Kanazawa and the Castle. We asked Lucy a thousand questions about Japan culture, habits, rules, and history. She was amazingly informative and loved the back and forth with our questions. The time flew by and we are all delighted with how much we saw and learned today. I would rate this as the best of our tours in Japan.

5.00Lucy was personable and knowledgeable. Alot of great little points to keep things interesting. We are sure without Lucy's help there were alot of things we would have missed about Kanazawa. Enjoyed the tour very much and the insightful conversation along the way. Would highly recommend.

5.00Lucy was simply amazing. As well as guiding around the highlights of Kanazawa, her knowledge of and respect for Japanese history, and her insights into modern-day Japanese culture, were so valuable. She also followed up after the tour with some great local restaurant recommendations. Lucy’s tour was one of the top highlights of our 3 week trip and we would urge anyone visiting Kanazawa to join her!
