• An amazing experience!

  This was our first time in Yosemite and we were unsure what to expect, but the tour was excellent, largely due to our amazing tour guide Daniel. Daniel showed us the most beautiful spots in Yosemite, but he made it so much better with all the knowledge he had. We returned to Yosemite the next day and kept talking about all we learned from our time with Daniel. We highly recommend this tour but you should ask for Daniel!

  Everything was timed very well, our guide knew all the ins and outs and tailored our day to our needs and wants. Definitely recommend this tour if you want to see it all and in a day.

  Seeing Yosemite was on our bucket list. I have some balance issues and we needed someone knowledgeable about the park to take us to see the highlights and give us a chance to walk on even ground when there was an opportunity. Our guide was great about finding those opportunities and describing our choices for each path, allowing us to have the most involved Yosemite experience we could. In addition our guide Mike was able to tell us all about the history of Yosemite - how it was formed, who lived there when, etc. He took excellent care of us. We would definitely recommend our experience to any group with mixed physical levels that wants everyone to have a great time.

  Our guide, Laura Ullmann, greeted us at our hotel at the agreed time. Laura was cheerful and friendly, she explained that the planned tour could be adjusted to suit our preference. It was a rainy day so views of the higher elevation sights were limited. We all made the best of the rainy day, and Laura’s knowledge of the park, and her historical stories made our day very pleasant. Laura provided a great experience, despite the rainy weather. The vehicle that was provided was nearly new and very well kept. Our friends visiting from Idaho are anxious to make a return visit, hopefully with better weather. We will definitely try to book another tour with Crossroads Tours, and with Laura as our guide again.

  We had an amazing experience with Daniel as our guide. His knowledge of Yosemite was incredible and he shared so many interesting facts and insights that really brought the park to life for us. One of the highlights was the perfect lunch spot he found for us right along the river. It was such a peaceful, beautiful moment and something we never would have discovered on our own. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would absolutely recommend Daniel to anyone visiting Yosemite!

  Daniel was our guide for the entire day, and was an amazing wealth of knowledge and resource resources throughout our journey. This gentleman, coming from a long line of people who have inhabited the Yosemite valley going back to the 1700s, was more than just a tour guide; he took us on a historical adventure. Without missing a single stop or beat, we visited parts of the park that we didn’t even know were accessible, nor even existed. it was truly a once in 1 million experience. He took pictures of us everywhere we went. He opened the car door for my wife and me at every stop, and he even set up lunch for us in the beautiful Ahwahnee hotel. I couldn’t recommend this tour more, and Daniel, more.

  The tour itself was great our driver was outstanding and so knowledgeable of the park and park history. We really enjoyed all of his back stories. This was a private four person tour so it gave us flexibility to change destinations as we wanted. Our only issue was with miss communication from the tour operator about the size of the transportation. The night before we received a call that we were being moved into a Jeep. We had four large adults plus a driver that were going to be placed into a four door jeep for ten hours. That was a no go, they offered a similar size Chevy blazer equally as uncomfortable. After long discussions they finally offered to upgrade at our cost to a full sized Chevy Tahoe. They would not compromise on the additional cost and our options were to cancel or pay for the large vehicle. We were already in transit to the park so making new arrangements was not an option. We paid the difference and were glad we did as the space was needed. You are in the car for a long period. Bottom line the tour guide was great but the website is not clear on the cars and sizes. So check your people size and space needed when booking.
