  We had the most amazing 2 day 1 night experience with Robbie. He was an amazing and supportive guide who made the trip awesome. Our porters Alex, Epul and Pian served us the best food and always made sure our gear was organised before we got to our next stop. Would recommend Robbie, Alex, Epul and Pian to anyone wanting to hike Rinjani.   The guides and their team are incredible, we did a 2d1n hike and underestimated it on our part however Soupi, Matt and their team did everything they could to ensure we made the climb and had the best time along the way. We had a fantastic time but are definitely feeling the pain right now ! I would look no further than green ranjini, their staff are top top tier and deserve the biggest pay rise possible ! • If you're doing the summit trek, do it with these guys!!

  If you're going to do the trek do it with Green Rinjani. Going with this company took the guesswork out of everything, providing us with a driver to pick us up from Tete Batu and drop us off in our next location after the hike. The overnight accomadation prior to our hike was great accompanied with an amazing view of the mountains. We came very underprepared but Green Rinjani provided us with all the necessary equipment for hire, as well as a thorough briefing before the next day's adventure. We did the 2 day 1 night summit trek, which I would not of made without our guide Sapar as it was very challenging. My partner has a heart condition and this was the first overnight hike I had ever done, Sapar was extremely attentive with setting a comfortable trekking pace, taking breaks along the way and frequently checking on our wellbeing throughout the hike. He would lead the way, constantly wait on us and always show the safer/easier path to take along the trail. His easy going persona, great conversation and attention to detail truly made it a great experience. Our two porters Adi and Acip were absolute weapons and I have nothing but the utmost respect for these guys as well as all the porters. Along with carrying all the camping supplies up the mountain, the breakfast, lunch, dinners and snacks they provided for us far exceeded our expectations, it would give any restaurant or warung a run for its money. Going hungry at any point throughout the trek will not be an issue for anyone. Where Green Rinjani stands out compared to other companies is there attention and care for the environment surrounding them, everything that came up with us came back down. We planted a tree on the way up and on the way back down the guides spent time collecting any litter they found along the way until their bags were full. The whole experience felt more like a group of people proud of their land and excited to show it off to visitors rather than a venture to make a profit. Overall it is a a very challenging hike that only gets harder as the trail goes on, without the assistance and hospitality of Sapar, Acip and Adi, i'm not sure if I wouldve been able to witness the amAzing sunrise at the summit. Should I return to Lombok and trek for a second time, I will definitely be doing it with Green Rinjani and would recommend anyone else to do the same.

  We did the 2-day/1-night tour to the crater rim of Mount Rinjani and can wholeheartedly recommend Fahmi and his team. From the organization to the execution, everything was excellently planned. We did not have to worry about anything and felt well taken care of and safe throughout the entire tour. We were particularly impressed by the food. We never expected to receive such delicious, varied, and freshly prepared meals on a trekking tour at the volcano. Every meal was a highlight and exceeded our expectations significantly. Fahmi was always friendly, professional, and attentive. He always made sure that everyone was doing well and made the tour a special experience with his calm and friendly demeanor. His team also did a great job. You can tell how much effort, experience, and passion is behind it. The landscape and the views of Rinjani are, of course, breathtaking, but it was Fahmi and his team who truly made this tour unforgettable. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience. • Best Rinjani Trekking Company!

  My partner and I did the 2 day 1 night crater rim trek and it was an unforgettable and amazing experience! The trek wasn’t too challenging as there were lots of checkpoints and breaks and the guides always made sure we stopped to rest. I’d say it’s beginner friendly, but you do need to be fit as the 1st day is all ascent. The descent on the second day felt much easier and was quicker. The treks lasted around 7 hours day 1 and 6 hours day 2 - this includes all the checkpoints breaks and lunch stops so the time you’re actually trekking isn’t that much so is definitely beginner friendly. For this hike we highly recommend green rinjani. From start to finish they made it logistically and breeze. We were picked up from bangsal port (after getting the boat from gili air) and dropped of at Kuta lombok- both included in the price. The accommodation the night before the trek is sorted as well - the home stay is clean and comfortable. The food on the trek was fantastic. There was so much of it so no need to bring snacks to weigh you down and they provide plenty of water and soft drinks as well. Our guides Adi and Anger were great! They were chatty and made sure we were trekking safe and comfortably- they were very experienced and knew the route well. The porters deserve the most credit tho - it is astonishing how they carry all the camping stuff and food up the mountain. You will want to give them a tip at the end because it’s very tough for them. The views at the crater rim were unbelievable- sunset and sunrise - probably the best I’ve ever seen, the view of the summit and the lake as well, it was all very magical. It is chilly at the top so you need some warm layers. Also green rinjani get you the best camping spot for views on the crater rim - they are the best company to go with for this trek so definitely book with them! One thing to mention is that we think more money needs to go to the porters so that they can afford proper shoes to do there job - the trek isn’t cheap and good shoes aren’t too expensive so we want to share our feelings about this and hope that more of us can make our feelings know and the companies can start to buy their portes proper hiking shoes.

  I did the 2 Day 1 night hike of Rinjani with Green Rinjani and it was an excellent experience. They are an extremely efficient and well run company and I have no complaints about my experience. My guide, Sapar, and his porters, Adi, Madi and Mamiq, were fantastic. Sapar spoke English extremely well and was very friendly and informative. His porters were very kind and made great local food and comfortable sleeping arrangements on the mountain. He and his team know the mountain very well and have a great respect for it. I would highly recommend Green Rinjani and highly recommend you ask for your guide to be Sapar! To start, the day before your hike they send a private driver to pick you up at your location, then take you to their own hotel/base camp where you stay the night and the accommodations are clean and updated. Next morning they will take you to the start of the hike where you arrive around 8am. Then you begin your trek. The Trek is difficult but manageable for a reasonably fit person. It is a very rewarding experience and if you’re going to do it, this is the right company to do it with. When you return to the start of the hike after completion they will have a car waiting to take you to your next destination- wherever you want to go in Lombok. Again, I would highly recommend Green Rinjani and highly recommend you ask for your guide to be Sapar!

  We had an amazing time with Green Rinjani on the 4d3n trek from Sembalun to Torean. Our guide Dana and incredible porter team (Jeffrie, Adi and Dar) made the experience absolutely brilliant. Dana spoke great English and taught us lots about the mountain and Lombok culture. He made sure the trip was very safe and comfortable as we had 1 guide for 2 people in our own group (even though we had booked a 'shared' tour). Some other operators had 1 guide for 10 people which was very unsafe as people were walking unaccompanied on the mountain. We had our own team of porters who always made sure we got the best camping spots, and cooked incredible fresh food throughout the trip. They catered to our vegan dietary requirements with lots of tofu, tempe, chips, nuts and a fruit platter with most meals! The team also ensured that we didn't leave any litter on the trail or in the campsites. Some other operators would leave the camp with lots of plastic trash, but Green Rinjani would even clean up after these other groups. The tent and sleeping kit were excellent quality and very clean. We were warm enough overnight but remember to bring long layers for the evening and also to sleep in. Cannot recommend Green Rinjani enough, and especially Dana and his team 💚

  My wife and I just completed the Rinjani summit trek with Green Rinjani and cannot recommend them highly enough — our guide Fahmi, and our two porters Eddie and Reski were just the best! Fahmi was a trooper and was clearly an expert of the mountain. His pacing was spot on and didn’t put us under any pressure. And when we reached camp, they hadn’t just set up tents, they had gone out of their way to secure us the most spectacular private campsite with a view!. Although the crater rim is unfortunately trashed by other tourists, what we love about Green Rinjani was the opportunity to plant trees on the way up and lead by example environmentally by removing rubbish from the track on the way down. Such a great way to do business and be a part of the solution instead of the problem! Green Rinjani are the number one trekking company for enjoying this beautiful mountain!

  We booked a two-day, one-night trip with Green Rinjani. We are very satisfied with the entire experience. During the expedition, we were accompanied by the wonderful guide Candia, whom we highly recommend. He was very helpful and friendly. We were also accompanied by porters, whose work we admire and appreciate. The food prepared during the trip was very good, with generous portions.   We recently completed the Rinjani trek with Green Rinjani and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The service and staff were excellent, and our guide, Dana, was full of energy, encouragement, and positivity throughout the entire trek. He looked after us every step of the way and made a challenging climb much more enjoyable. Big asset to the team. The food was surprisingly good—it’s incredible what the team can prepare at over 2,600m elevation. We were served delicious curries, mi goreng, banana pancakes, fresh fruit platters, hot drinks, and honestly, there was more food than we could eat! A special mention has to go to the porters. These guys are absolute legends, carrying huge loads of gear up the mountain, often in nothing more than flip-flops. Their hard work is remarkable, and without them, experiences like this simply wouldn’t be possible. The organisation was seamless, with smooth pick-up and drop-off arrangements, and the included accommodation on the first night was adequate for what you need before the trek. If you’re considering climbing Mount Rinjani, I would definitely recommend Green Rinjani. One piece of advice: make sure you bring proper hiking boots or trail shoes with good grip. We wore running shoes and found sections 4 and 5 on the descent extremely slippery, which made things more difficult than they needed to be.
