  We had an amazing day with Bruno. Such a warm and knowledgeable host, attended to all our needs and definitely went above and beyond to make the sailing trip one to remember.

  We met Bruno at Catania Port at 10am, and sailed out of the harbour. It was so lovely to have the boat to ourselves and Bruno was a delightful skipper - full of knowledge and passion for Catania and Sicily. We sailed out to see the Aci Trezza and the Cyclops and then chose to sail out to the open sea. I was so nice to relax in a breeze with the hot sun and to swim in the deep blue ocean. Bruno prepared a lovely light lunch of swordfish and pasta which we enjoyed with a bottle of Prosecco. A lovely long day sailing in the peace and quiet of the ocean, and chatting about this and that, dozing on the deck, before returning to port at 17:00.

  The sailing trip with Bruno was uniquely authentic. He gave us the feeling of a family trip (the atmosphere was very pleasant, welcome and warm, open; not like typical 0815 standard tour with guide). He was able to tell us a lot about the history of Catania and the mythology that came with it, which was very exciting. How could swim, get equipment for snorkeling, snacks, drinks and move freely on the boat. He followed us. Personally, I felt sick while driving, but he took very good care of me. Towards the end, we also received many valuable tips for staying in Sicily. Thanks for that! With his permission I share his number here, feel free to contact him, you will not regret it!   Bruno is a passionate man, he offers an authentic tour boat of the cost of Catania. He explains many things, he loves sailing and it was a great pleasure to share this trip with him. We hope to see him again for an other sailing experience !

• Amazing sightseeing and swimming in the Sicilian sun

  This was a truly amazing experience. We enjoyed every minute of sailing next to the coastline and chilling on the boat, skipper Bruno’s stories and historic facts, swimming and snorkeling around the boat and dolphin-watching on our way back. In the middle of the trip, Bruno personally cooked us a two course meal which was delicious, with white Sicilian wine and other drinks available. Later on he also offered fresh fruits as we were starting to head back. The ship was clean and well maintained and the crew friendly and fun.

  Bruno is exceptional and so is his son. We spent a wonderful day accompanied by Bruno who is a lover of his island. Everything was perfect, the walk, the swimming, the meal, the shared moment and so on. To do!!!

  We had a great sailing adventure with prosecco and snacks. Bruno was very friendly and caring, we wenr swimming in the rocks and also heard the interesting history of Sicily. A very nice trip to enjoy on a sunny day.

  The apartment is absolutely lovely, plenty of hanging space, bed is really comfortable, air con fantastic, 15 mins or more or less to everywhere except the beach, we did walk but safest is to get a bus - €15 taxi If I had to find something negative - not really negative, I feel maybe a few coffee sachets could have been left, just got in, sweaty and I do love a coffee - apart from that superb.
