  From check in to intros around the catamaran, to hoisting the flag, to providing snacks and friendly conversation on the excursion, the crew was AMAZING. Everyone was super friendly and the vibe was like having a get-together with friends! I was traveling alone but didn't feel alone. Other passengers were friendly and it was a one-of-a-kind experience. I highly recommend this for the best view of the bay, the rolling fog, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the city at night from the water. I took the sundown cruise starting at 7pm and the excursion was just about 2 hours long. Wear a warm windbreaker, because it is definitely windy and chilly out on the water, and there can be water spray up in front on the deck, but it's so much fun. There are tables and seating inside for passengers who don't wish to expose themselves to the elements, but the view is spectacular and I highly recommend dressing for cold/wet temps and enjoying this thrilling adventure. The crew was so nice, they were great hosts, even giving us chocolates as we left!   We had a fabulous time! It was remarkable to experience the Golden Gate Bridge that way and Alcatraz. But the best part was the crew. They were extremely accommodating!! Thank you so much to Wolfgang, Lisa, and all the crew!! We almost thought it might be too much for us at 75 and 77, but as long as you can walk and talk and chew gum, you should be fine. The crew kept us safe and helped make the experience even more enjoyable.

  It was a wonderful experience and the crew is very helpful. Bring a jacket because it gets cold, even in late Spring. If you forget, the crew keep a supply. Arrive early, the boat leave exactly on time and it starts boarding about 10 - 15 minutes before departure. If you arrive at departure time, you will miss the trip. It can be hard to locate, as there is only a tiny sign above a gate that leads out to the dock where the boat is located. No large sign, no store front.
