5.00Did this bar crawl while visiting San Jose and it was easily one of the highlights of the whole trip. Franco and Armando were awesome hosts. They knew exactly where to take the group, kept the energy up all night, and actually made it fun instead of just going through the motions. Hit a great mix of spots, met some cool people, and never felt like we were being rushed. If you’re in San Jose, just do it. Way better than figuring it out on your own. Easy 5 stars.

5.00The initial meet up was sketchy because the door person tried to charge us to go in to meet the host, who was outside. But it turned out fine. I had a blast and definitely recommend to anyone. host Franco was amazing took us to 4 different places and after the tour, he decided to stick around with us as the group were mostly visitors…. Amazing guy.
Fun Bar Crawl in Cali Area of San Jose

5.00This is a fun but simple bar crawl in the Cali area of San Jose. This crawl has a great staff. We met at Caccio’s, had a drink, and played a memory game - everyone takes a turn saying: name, city, and what we love. Then you go around again repeating - if you fail - you drink. A good ice breaker. After the game we went to F for rows and rows of shots. Then Chupitos - with unique and themed shots, like getting in a boxing helmet and getting punched by the barkeeper after a shot. They have endless gimmics, flaming shots, snow ski shots, and more. It was fun. Simple, but fun.

5.00Juan was an awesome guide for the bar crawl. He took us to experience some of the most popular bars in the city. The drinks were good and the music was great. He took the time to help us bond as a group during the experience. We came as two people and left with five new friends. Overall, it was a great experience and a great night.

5.00I thoroughly enjoyed myself on this bar crawl with my friends, the Host (Felipe), and other travelers we met that night. We chose to go on the 5th. There was an instant connection, that was palpable. Everyone was there to have fun, and we all did. Our host was very hospitable, chill, relaxed, and knowledgeable at the same time. I felt safe in his hands, especially when we were walking around the area with all that traffic. He made sure everyone was accounted for at all times. It was a very fun way to experience the nightlife here in San Jose, Costa Rica. I would go back if I were to come here again, because you get a little taste of this, little taste of that, and I like dipping my toes into different things when I visit a place. I don't think we would've been able to pull that night off on our own to be honest. So I'm glad we booked a bar crawl for the nightlife experience.

5.00Due to family emergencies our original tour guide canceled. So the owner of discover came to the rescue! It was a night of learning the culture and nightlife. We also booked the hidden gems experience for the next day! The hidden gems experience was 10/10! Worth every penny! We got taken to a private waterfall experience, seen beautiful jungle views, got tossed around by waves on a gorgeous beach. Additionally we got taken to a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and drinks! Then you end the day at the most beautiful view watching the sunset! He’s also the sweetest guy for real! If you’re not booking with discover you are truly missing out!
