5.00James crafted a trip itinerary to meet our interests , requests and more that created an adventure that will be very hard to top! He researched and communicated with us throughout the process to create an efficient and productive daily itinerary with additional options, as well as recommended accommodations and local eateries to suit our needs. His knowledge and love of Scotland painted a picture of everything and everywhere we visited with detail that immersed us in each waypoint. Our days were packed from start to finish with culture, history, music, culinary delights, stories, laughter and time for reflection to take in the beauty of Scotland. So much more to explore, already planning a 2025 adventure with Alba Experiences! Haste ye back!

5.00James is amazing . His vast knowledge and passion for his heritage made us feel as if we were experiencing the history in real time . As an aspiring photographer, his guidance was eye opening . The shortbread cookies everyday was a nice touch . I have recommended his services to several friend . We would like to journey back eventually to explore further. Howard

5.00We had a blast with James as our guide. My wife and I had a brief March ‘23 weekend in Scotland and James’ insightful and tailored tour made it a rewarding experience. The scenery and landmarks he shared were remarkable, and he added to our tour as we got to know one another (added a stop at an SAS memorial he thought we’d enjoy after discussing mutual interests). Perhaps most impressive was his knowledge of, and passion for, Scottish history. Having an informed and thoughtful guide made the day trip our vacation highlight. As an added benefit, James used his local knowledge to avoid the crowds and get us the best views. Overall, Alba Experiences’ customer service, comfortable van, and kind staff were a welcome addition to our vacation. We’ve already recommended them to family planning a fall trip and will use them again in the future.
