5.00When I travel to new places, I always search for a local food tour and this experience, with Swoyam leading, was one of the best I’ve been on. He took me to places I would have never been able to find on my own. He really knew his way around and made sure I was enjoying myself the entire time. If you love trying new cuisine and meeting wonderful new people, I could not recommend this tour, and Swoyam, enough!

5.00I had such an awesome food tour with Swoyam! I ended up being the only person on the tour and it was still so much fun. We went to some super local places that I would have never found on my own and was a great introduction to Nepali food.

5.00What a great trip!! We seen parts of Kathmandu that we would probably have never seen on our own and sampled lots of different local foods. Jivraj Hamal was our guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. Would highly recommend.

5.00I thoroughly enjoyed the food tour yesterday with Swoyam. He was very informative, personable, and made the whole experience engaging. The tour took us down small alleys and streets to food spots I would never have discovered on my own. I also learned a lot about Kathmandu along the way, and Swoyam answered all of my questions clearly. Importantly for me, I have a severe nut allergy, and this was handled extremely well throughout the tour, which made me feel safe and able to fully enjoy the experience. Overall, it was a fantastic introduction to the city and its food culture, and I would highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

5.00Had an absolutely fantastic afternoon with Swoyam as he introduced us to so many new and amazing dishes. Not only was the food fantastic but we were given a wonderful insight into Nepalese history and culture along the way. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kathmandu. So many of the places we visited were tucked away down little alleys or in quiet squares that we would never have discovered by ourselves. Thank you for a truly unique afternoon.

5.00Our guide was Swoyam. He was both intelligent and personable. He gave us a really unique and interesting perspective on both the food and culture in Katmandu. I am quite sure had we not done this tour we would have had only the tourist experience of this city . I cannot stress enough if you want a more comprehensive understanding then do this tour. Also follow tips from previous reviews as you will eat a lot of food .

5.00Fantastic experience and so much more than just tasting local dishes! The tour took you outside of the main tourist trappings, down hidden alleys and into stores you never would have known existed if not for your guide. My guide, Swoyam, was incredible. He was very knowledgeable about Kathmandu and was able to answer all my questions, I really enjoyed having him as my tour guide. The food was delicious too, make sure you arrive hungry as you will leave very full on great food!

5.00If you are considering this tour, do it! My guide Swoyam was super knowledgeable and made the tour really enjoyable :) the food is delicious and it’s an experience in itself seeing the back ends of Thamal / Kathmandu. Do not eat before you come on this tour, you eat ALOT!! 10/10
