Great Start to Our Time in Taipei

5.00A great way to get our bearings and get us out and walking! It’s just your group and the guide so no one around even really notices your tour. We’re learned a lot about the history of the area and how to get around. Our guy was very personable and friendly. It was definitely a good pick of a tour!

5.00David, my host, was a great communicator. He contacted me frequently to ensure I had everything I needed to find the meetup point and to confirm I knew how to get back. He is very knowledgeable about the City of Taipei and its culture. We spent a considerable amount of time at the Longshan Buddhist Temple. It was enlightening and an amazing experience. I have so much more understanding of it. The city is culturally rich and vibrant. I highly recommend David if you would like an inside look!

5.00This was a last minute decision on my part & I’m glad I did it. I was in Taipei for work & only had a few hours to spare before I flew out. I was matched with a lovely local girl called Charlotte. I loved how the walk was tailored to my interests. Everywhere she took me it was things I was interested in. Charlotte is a really friendly personable girl, so easy to ask her questions & have a great conversation with her, I really appreciated her local knowledge but also her bright bubbly personality. Such a great way to see a city being guided by a local, I thoroughly recommend it!

5.00My tour guide Alice was amazing in organizing everything we could do in three hours, and she was also cognizant of me getting to the airport for my flight. I saw historic sights, ate amazing breakfast and lunch. She was such a kind and informative guide! I truly enjoyed my experience my last day in Taipei.

5.00This review is for the 6hr tour. Megan was our tour guide and she was best. She was so kind and accommodating. We didn't have a private car to take us around so we had to take the train between locations but Megan made it easy and we were able to spend a good amount of time at each location (we went to Taipei 101, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial, Dalangdong Baoan Temple, and a night market). I highly recommend this your if you don't know where to go or how to navigate the train very well haha

5.00Garen is a wonderful guide, who explains not just the food of Taiwan but also the history and culture. Touring the market was a perfect introduction to the tastings that followed. Garen was able to customize the tour to my particular interests -- much appreciated.
