大凧まつり。このユニークなお祭りは年に一度だけ行われます。 11 月 1 日。これはすべての聖人の日であり、家族は亡くなった愛する人々を思い出し、墓地を訪れ、家族は彼らの人生を尊重します. 6 月から 11 月にかけて、マヤのコミュニティの人々が集まり、色付きのティッシュ ペーパーで特別なパターンとメッセージが描かれた伝統的な巨大な凧を作ります。

5.00If you are next to Antigua at end of october - beginning of november, I would highly recommend you to go to sumpango for their local festival of kites. Either you can do it by yourself or book a trip with agencies. Personally I did it by myself taking two local buses. The principle is easy, some groups of youth build kites under different themes & sizes (the biggest are 25 ml of diameter!) and then introduce it to the audience on football pitch trying to make them fly! There is plenty food, bars, music, local crafts sellers and really a nice atsmophere! At the end of the festival there is a concert and can enjoying dancing.
