  The tour led to a castle, through Victoria, and to salt fields where sea salt is still harvested today. Sturdy footwear (no flip flops) is recommended; the final spot to watch the sunset is on a rock that should be familiar to Game of Thrones fans (it was a filming location in Season 1). Overall, a very successful, well-organized event, both the boat ride from Malta to Gozo and the dinner with local, homemade specialties, as well as the drive on Gozo.

  I'll start with two quick complaints and then get to the excellent tour itself. First, I received four different time/pickup location details (Including incorrect information on the actual tour e-ticket.) The office was easy to contact via chat, and they finally provided the correct i formation. Secondly, the shared-shuttle stopped by some very crowded areas to pick up other guests, and we ended up in the shuttle van for 1 hour 45 minutes before reaching the ferry terminal. We just coughed it up and took a 25 minute Uber back to our hotel after the tour to avoid a repeat. The tour: The private boat ride over to Gozo was very nice, and they stopped by some nice sights along the way. Our SUV was newer and nice, and our driver, Greg, was excellent! He made it fun, but we were always safe. The tour was beautiful, and the included snacks and wine was also quite enjoyable. The sunset location and view was just amazing. The shared ferry ride back went smoothly. Overall, the pre-tour confusion and the long shared transport were annoying, but the tour made it worth the effort for sure!
