5.00I spent a wonderful afternoon with Donatella walking around the streets of Siena, doing my favorite things - eating and shopping. We visited some of her favorite food shops, including purveyors of baked goods, cheeses, and truffles, a pizzeria and a paninoteca, and of course wine shops - one for white, one for red, owned by a husband and wife. At each location, she was greeted warmly - an enthusiasm that was extended to me, as each shop owner explained their wares. Everything was delicious and Donatella was lovely. I enthusiastically recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn about the food traditions of Siena, while at the same time meeting gracious residents of the city.
