  Like I saw in one review there are not a lot of redwoods. It was ok, a nice outing but I would say not worth $70!

  Train ride was fun. We learned about the train history and the logging industry in the area. But what really made the trip exceptional was the music provided by Conductor Malachi. He sang and played the guitar and played the flute in the meadow at Crowley. He truly made the ride memorable!

  The train ride is enjoyable. Don't bother with the VIP ticket. The lunch they include is really not worth it. Bring along something or have a late lunch that day. The singing conductor seems popular and he was very enthusiastic, but it would have been better if he could carry a tune.

  The train ride was great. The entertainment was what made the trip so memorable. A man played guitar and sang. He played the fife on during the layover. The trip through the Redwoods was stunning. I would recommend this to anyone

  Seats are old and a bit uncomfortable, but the ride itself was interesting with lovely scenery and a singing/guitar playing conductor singing railroad songs. The turn-around point where you can get off the train for a few minutes allows for GREAT views of the unusual Wolf Tree, with an explanation of how it got the name.

  This train ride was an Amazing Experience. The staff was excellent, snacks were yummy, the train was fun :) the singing conductor was the cherry on the top. ☺️

  

  

  

  

• Christmas in the Redwoods, nothing to beat it.

  We went on the Christmas Tree trip at 4:30pm and had a wonderful time. There's a carriage that's open to the elements, which gives a good view on all sides. There was a bar with beer & cider, & wine & cocktails; you could get a whole bottle of wine or by the glass. There were some lit attractions along the way, a good thing once it got dark, and they stopped at a live tree that was all lit up. There was a guy and guitar. Lots of kids having fun but fortunately they were not disruptive. Mainly a family event I think. Having to create a trip advisor login to leave a review is a pita.

  Riding the Skunk Train again is what my adult daughter wanted for Christmas. We rode the Holiday Train and it was very fun. I bought VIP tickets that got us commutative cups for hot cocoa and booklets. Priority boarding was included by this just meant cutting in front of others trying to board. We sat in the open air car that had heaters and plastic siding. Live music and Mr. Skunk was on board for photos and a stamp. Will definitely go again when family comes from out of town.
