  I had 2 weeks on the South Island. The experience was great. I was blown away by the amount of places we visited in just 2 weeks. At times it felt a bit rushed, but I appreciate the amount of places we visited. Tom is a great tour guide! Very informative and helpful. He shows passion in his job. I would recommend wild kiwi tours as a great way to see NZ. No two days will be the same. Plenty of options to choose from. Memories I will hold onto 🫶

  Just back from an amazing week exploring the South island! The tour managed to visit all the places I wanted to see, affordable and was very well organised. We had a small group and got along very well which meant evenings / meals were good craic. Our tour guide Tom was great, had great knowledge of the places, activities on offer and overall made sure we had a wonderful trip - even adjusting the timing on the last day to make sure we finally got to complete our sky dive! Would highly recommend and look forward to hopefully booking again in the future.

  The New Zealand Southern islands' tourist attractions, whilst visually stunning, are so very far apart. With 4 locations visited, Tom (our host) worked wonders to keep the group entertained during the extensive periods of driving from point to point, with 1 day notable especially for the 600+ km drive to take a ferry journey through a fjord, which isn't a fjord. The main difficulty which we faced as a group was fog and/or cloud coverage. Many of the views which Tom wanted to show us was simply hidden behind a wall of fog which simply wouldn't disperse. As far as prices went, the initial outlay went towards the accommodation which was all of a reasonable standard, with those on the tour sharing a room throughout, from the first day at Lylo in Christchurch, right up until the last night. If you were to look to do this sort of tour but only had a single week - I would recommend doing the Northern islands instead with the same company, simply as it offers a broader range of activities, and locations, with substantially less driving to get to each stop.

  An incredible experience, super well-balanced and completely stress-free, one of the best trips I’ve ever done in my life. Even though I travelled solo, I never felt lonely at any point.   The "Southern Voyage" was the culmination of our 3-week NZ Discovery Tour. We particularly liked the mixture: We explored the south of the South Island intensively, sometimes together as a group, sometimes individually thanks to the helpful activity sheets. Organization & flexibility: Huge praise to crisis management! When our wonderful guide Tegan had to cancel the tour, Robbie was immediately ready as backup the next day. That he was flown in specially so that the program could continue without failures is absolutely not a given. Guides: Both were awesome! Whether advising on activities, filling up the breakfast boxes or general tips – we felt well looked after. Activities: The choice is fantastic. From adrenaline (Luge in Queenstown is a must!) to relaxed hikes, there's something for everyone. Accommodation & community: The hostels (4–6 bed rooms) are absolutely fine. Because you live with the group, a great bond quickly develops – also ideal for solo travelers. Conclusion: A relaxed tour despite many experiences, as you often stay several nights in the same place. I can highly recommend Wild Kiwi (also the other tours)!

  Had some of the best days of my life with our tour guide Ben. His commitment to the group was above and beyond. Whether that was chauffeuring without complaint, keeping us updated on the group chat, or checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, we were lucky to have Ben as our guide. I also felt blessed with some of the nicest travel companions to share stories and experiences with. With Milton Sounds, Lake Tekapo, and Queenstown among the highlights I would certainly recommend this tour. Thanks again for everything

  What an incredible way to see the south Island. The transport was clean and comfortable, accommodation was great and the itinerary was exceptional. I can't recommend Wild Kiwi tours more and our guide Siobhan truly did make it even more memorable. She was knowledgeable, approachable and really did make the tour even more memorable. I also really enjoyed the diversity of the group (all ages and all nationalities)

  Siobhan is THE best guide ever. I’ve just finished a one-week Southern Voyager tour, and I honestly had the most amazing time. Everything was incredibly well organised, which made the whole experience feel smooth and chill. The itinerary was perfect, with a great mix of sights/stops, activities and enough free time to explore on our own. What really made the trip unforgettable, though, was Siobhan. Her energy, knowledge, and genuine passion for New Zealand shone through. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt included, comfortable, and looked after. Whether it was sharing interesting info about the nature and animals of NZ, giving great local restaurant/bar/cafe recommendations and bringing a fun, positive vibe to the group, she absolutely nailed it!! I couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better experience overall. Highly recommend this tour—especially if you’re lucky enough to get Siobhan!

  This is a trip that is definitely worth while! It is an amazing opportunity to get a taste of a few places in the South of New Zealand, and try lots of different activities. Siobhan is an outstanding tour guide who made the trip highly enjoyable. She is very knowledgeable and we were able to learn so much about the history and culture of New Zealand. Siobhan went above and beyond to ensure everyone had the best time. This tour and company is perfect if you are looking to travel solo, or with friends. Truly recommend it to anyone!

  The trip was great and definitely worth it. I got blessed with a great group of people on the tour. And the guide ‘telli’ was an awesome guy, very chill, talkative and fun of course. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough.
