What To Expect
Castillo de San Marcos National Monument
17 世紀に建てられたこの歴史的な要塞をご覧ください。米国本土で最も古い石造りの砦であるサン マルコス城は、新世界におけるスペインの主張を守り、守るために建てられた大きなスペインの石造りの要塞です。国定記念物であり、325 年前のセント オーガスティンで最も古い建造物です。
Huguenot Cemetery
歴史的なシティ ゲートの向かいにあるフロリダ州セント オーガスティンのユグノー墓地は、1821 年から 1884 年の間、プロテスタントの墓地でした。アメリカが占領する前は、スペインのセント オーガスティン市は主にカトリック教徒であり、市内で唯一の墓地でした。 、トロマト墓地は、カトリック教徒のために予約されていました。正式なプロテスタントの埋葬地の必要性を認識し、セント オーガスティンの新しいアメリカ政府によって市門のすぐ外側のエリアが選ばれました。最初の埋葬は、1821 年に黄熱病の流行の直前に行われ、市の多数の住民の命が奪われました。

5.00Garry provided a colorful overview of Saint Augustine history combined with personal anecdotes and stories. He also shared his poetry book with us. This is the best tour of Saint Augustine we have been on. We learned things we wouldn’t otherwise have learned and tried restaurants and wine bars that we would not have thought to try. Highly recommend!

5.00Garry was the best! We have done a couple of trolley tours before and tastings. This was the best of both worlds. We learned we laughed, we drank. We have been coming to St. Augustine for 30 years, we learned new things and were introduced to places we have never visited but will be back. Garry would be great to just hang out with on a random Tuesday. Great value great time.

2.00Garry our guide was a character… Food was good Not really a full food tour where you try different small plates but mire of a lunch at different places in St Augustine Started with charcuterie board and wine I asked specifically for vegetarian option and that was handled well I also asked for beer for a guest which he denied guest because it was a “paid” option Then Bbq and dessert Garry is quite condescending and can be abrasive And doesn’t want to listen to his guests At the end of your tour he makes you do a review and makes you think about your tipping structure after he counts the tip All and all I would not do this tour again … sorry to say … and my guests were too polite to say it I was struck by the fact that he mentioned all the bad reviews and discounted them But those reviews were correct

5.00Garry was super nice and had great suggestions on the area, it was a very informative tour on the history of St Augustine. Make sure you come hungry because he will definitely feed you! Mojo bbq was delicious.
