  Elona, the tour guide, is a historian who clearly loves Lausanne, and so we had a wonderful afternoon with her. Super interesting, super informative. Learned so much about how the past informs the present in Lausanne, all the while walking through interesting streets and looking at historic buildings and beautiful sights. Highly recommend this tour.

  Get to know the city from someone who loves it. There's a lot of information about the history as well as on recent developments. You also get to see different quarters and their specific groove. Ilona is a great expert in history. She is a very nice person who cares about her audience.

  Ilona is an amazing guide. I was the only participant that day, so the tour ended up feeling like a private one, which made the experience even more special. She is incredibly knowledgeable and brings history to life in such an engaging and fun way. Ilona herself is also a very interesting and talented person, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend her.

  This was a wonderful tour of Lausanne. My husband's family moved from Lausanne in 1900 to the US. It was wonderful to connect to this city. It is beautiful and full of history. I highly recommend this tour.

  This was an excellent tour. Our guide Ilona was smart, funny, and very knowledgable. She designed the tour very well, starting up near the cathedral and working our way down through the city. In Lausanne, which has a lot of up and down, this was very well conceived. We hit the highlights as well as some unique and interesting “below the radar”spots. Although Mother Nature decided to sprinkle on us for much of the tour, Ilona was good at finding sheltered spots to stand and a lovely cafe to refresh in partway through. We would highly recommend this tour to all. Cheers.
