Formal Complaint Regarding Tour Booking Urgent Request for Refund Dear Viator Customer Support Team, I am writing to formally submit a complaint regarding my participation in the tour "Thessaloniki Meteora Monastries For Cruisers" booked for May 03, 2026. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided, as it did not correspond to the description on your platform. Due to significant failures on the part of the tour operator, I am requesting a full refund of the amount paid. Please find below a detailed account of the issues encountered: Inaccurate Meeting Point Location: The bus location provided on the map for the meeting point was incorrect. This forced me to walk for over 20 minutes through an area with stray dogs, causing considerable distress and making the situation feel unsafe. Unresponsive Support: None of the provided hotline phone numbers were answered when I tried to contact them for assistance regarding the incorrect location. Confusing and Poor Communication from the Driver: I initially approached the bus driver at 7:30 AM and asked if he was going to Meteora. He replied "no." However, 20 minutes later, the same bus became the designated tour vehicle. This miscommunication created extreme stress, and I almost missed the bus as I was forced to run and scramble aboard. Extremely Rushed Itinerary and Poor Value: The tour itself was completely rushed and did not deliver the promised experience. For example, we spent only approximately 3 minutes inside one of the monasteries, allowing no time for proper observation or appreciation. Given the cost of the trip, the level of service and the rushed nature of the visit did not provide acceptable value. Given that the entire experience was marred by logistical failures, non-existent customer service, and a rushed itinerary that did not allow me to actually experience the destination, I feel a full refund is warranted.
