By accident, we leave the elevator on the 2nd floor, where tickets for a dance performance called Awa-Doe are being sold. The event starts at 8 PM and lasts 50 minutes. This is a so-called fool's dance that is celebrated every August. Really interesting and somehow funny. The audience is encouraged to participate, but that would be too embarrassing for us.

Excellent itinerary! The performance is a must-see! Peco was the perfect guide, and did everything to make our experience wonderful! Our ship arrived late (rough seas) and Peco kept in constant contact. She made some adjustments on the fly and insured we got to the performance and then went to the museum. She took us on a quick tour of Tokushima and we saw it like a local. At the end, she arranged a taxi to get us back to the port. We would have spent all afternoon with Peco if we could. Top notch!
