The organization of the trip (transfers, ferries, etc) was excellent. The guides were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The daily hikes/runs were beautiful and so diverse. Learned so much about the geology and fauna of the islands. The provided meals were the stuff of dreams and included great wines. The accommodations were very nice, and had AC! Can’t wait to go back next year

Luis is a fantastic guide and we had an awesome run together. As a local and experienced trail runner he clearly knows how to impress his guests — great trail, fantastic views and he showed me some hidden gems along the way. Highly recommend him to anyone who loves trail running. We also booked him as a guide for our family hike. He picked a very easy-going trail for our young ones, but still interesting and beautiful so also the parents had a great time.

Lis and Pedro were fantastic guides. We had an amazing week with guided hikes. Both are knowledgeable about the local biodiversity and volcanic history of Faial. I can’t imagine a better experience. We also did a day trip to Pico, wine tasting, whale watching and the best meals I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back next year. 100 percent will do this again. Huge thank you to Our Island!

5 days 113km 5140md+ Pico/Faial :lots of fun, lots of laughs, amazing scenery, new friends and good food. Thanks to Luis pedro and rita. Would highly recommend
