1.00If your goal is to practice standing on a sidewalk questioning your life choices. We booked and paid in advance, showed up right on time for our 7 PM pickup, and were treated to a thrilling 30-minute game of “Will They Show Up?” Spoiler: they did not. After calling and leaving a message, we decided to pivot our plans for the evening. To their credit, they did eventually call back to let us know they couldn’t find the person who was supposed to run the tour… you know, the one with all the supplies. We were offered the exciting opportunity to reschedule, which was tempting, but we opted for the even more adventurous route of canceling and hoping to see our money again someday. It’s truly impressive how efficiently they can process your payment in minutes, yet somehow require an extended, reflective period to return it. If you’re looking for a memorable night out, I’d suggest just walking into any bar on your own—you’ll have a better chance of actually getting a drink.
