  You access the valley via a road in fair condition until reaching the points of interest. From there, you must go at 20 km/h; the road is in poor condition despite charging USD 24 per person for entry. Very expensive for what it offers. There are 4 places to park and walk, a large gray sand dune where you walk for about 20 minutes uphill in the sand to a viewpoint that has a good view, but without the variety of colors found in northern Argentina. Then another path also uphill for another view that is not better than the previous one. A third path leads to an abandoned mine with little to see, except for hearing the crunching of the salt due to the temperature change as the sun rises or sets, and the 3 Marias, which is a somewhat peculiar rock formation that is not very interesting.   Wonderful place. Requires a lot of physical preparation as it is a steep climb with soft sand floor If I can take a cajado. Breathe calmly and walk slowly.

  My guide Ivan was great! He was funny, friendly, informative and fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese. The park is surreal and interesting, and the agency really makes the comute comfortable. As far as the food - very generous and high quality

  The valley of the moon was amazing, and you must visit it if in San Pedro. I thought the tour was overpriced for what it was - we spent 45 minutes picking up people from their hotels around the city, walked to three viewpoints in the valley and drove back. The entry ticket to the valley itself wasn’t included in the tour price. I would probably just go to the valley myself (it’s very close to San Pedro) and spend longer seeing stuff I like and save a bunch of money if I had to do it again.

  Visited several spots in Valley de la Luna on this sunset tour and the scenery speaks for itself, it’s like being on another world! The dunes and rock formations are really something. The picnic spread we got for sunset was also really lovely :)

  A fantastic tour in comfortable transport and guide Ivan very attentive, polite and available, with great knowledge and ease to convey. The Chofer and chef Daniel, equally friendly and helpful. We closed the day with a beautiful sunset with typical tasty drinks and food.
