  We had an amazing experience in Varanasi. Staff Anil arranged everything perfectly. The visit to the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple, mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, historic Sarnath City Tour, and majestic Ramnagar Fort were unforgettable. Guide Wasim was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained the history beautifully. Highly recommended for a spiritual and cultural Varanasi experience.

  What a fantastic day trip of Varanasi the holiest place in India. My guide for the day was Bharat and he was superb. The day started at 5am with Bharat arriving on time to collect me for my 5am sunrise boat ride on the Ganges. Then back to my hotel for breakfast and a little rest. And that’s how the whole day went, Bharat would collect me for and excursion then bring back to the hotel for a rest and freshen up in the privacy and cleanliness of my hotel room and then back out again, and repeat until my day ended about 7:45pm with the beautiful Aarti ceremony. What an incredible cultural experience the entire day was. BTW, the other major reason why I’m so glad we weren’t out straight nonstop the entire day is because it was brutally hot and humid and I think had I not had all those breaks throughout my day in my cool hotel room, I may have suffered from heat exhaustion so I think it is extremely well thought out how they conduct this particular 1 day Varanasi tour. Speaking of hot & humid, there was plenty of bottled water to drink and I was drinking a full bottle at least every time I got back to the car and we took a bottle with us on some of the walk abouts and the driver had a new full bottle ready for me every time I returned. Finally, Bharat my tour guide, he really made the tour special. He was easy to understand and very insightful and detailed with his discussions about all the the sights & events we saw. And he had a great sense of humor. He had me laughing and smiling throughout the day. Thank you Bharat for such a great day. I highly recommend this day trip of Varanasi. Very well organized and orchestrated. I hope you have the good fortune of receiving Bharat as your guide.

  We traveled with BCT Touristik for 24 days in Japan - "Japan Intensive." We would like to inform you that the trip was only intensive in terms of steps and pace (15,000-20,000 steps per day) at a hurried pace. The program was very one-sided. Far too many castles, temples, shrines, gardens, and concrete. And often there were no beautiful temples and shrines here. Unfortunately, even the Temple of a Thousand Gates in Kyoto was not included in the program. No landscapes at all. All in all, a sobering course of the entire itinerary. Japan has more to offer than what was presented to us here in over three weeks. No landscapes, no alternative program in bad weather, no consideration for the needs of the travelers. The program was just run through. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about historical events, but because she does not live in Japan, she had little information about, for example, restaurant recommendations, etc. No alternative tips when one no longer wanted to see a temple. Additionally, one only received a tentative daily plan for the next day the evening before, which was also subject to change. One never knew what to expect, how much one would have to walk again, and when one would have how much "free time." Often, the free time was spent in places where one just sat around because it took place off the beaten path and was extremely boring. We also addressed the "problems," but unfortunately, there has been no feedback to date, and my review has not been uploaded to their website. I find this very unfortunate, as three-quarters of the group felt that the program was poorly selected. Nevertheless, Japan is a very beautiful country, and thanks to our own initiative, we had many wonderful sights and experiences. Surely we will travel to Japan again, but definitely not with BCT Touristik.
