What To Expect

5.00I did a surfing lesson with Noah. He was great. Very patient, knowledgeable, clear, and fun! He also gave me good tips on boards, suits, how to learn about surfing conditions, and other pro tips. I can't say about enough about the Santa Barbara Surf School. Each of the lessons I've had with them have been great. Will come back again soon!

5.00My friend and I had an amazing surf lesson with Josh! We were both nervous and had never surfed before, but Josh was very patient and helpful, and made the experience so much fun! We were able to stand up quicker than either of us expected, and left the lesson wishing we could come back right away! I highly recommend doing a lesson, we had such a fun time!

5.00We had a fabulous experience for our very first time surfing. Mondos beach was great and the weather was amazing although the wind was a bit. Surfing is hard!! But our instructors were great, very patient and giving lots of instruction. We had a great experience and would do it again.

5.00We had a great time with Adam and Aiden. I had my three boys with me and we were all up and surfing immediately. They gave us a good overview, then got us into the right waves so we could catch them consistently. In 90 minutes, we were hooked and went back out the next day to catch some more on our own thanks to their lesson. Highly recommended.

5.00My 5yo and 9yo loved surfing with this crew! It’s our second summer taking lessons with them and we will only book with them. They make surfing fun and safe for the kids. A huge shoutout to Tyler, who my 5yo had a blast with - great personality and instructor!

5.00My 2 boys, 11 and 14 had a surf lesson with Ben. It was the best day!! Ben was an excellent instructor, so nice, patient and fun!! He made my boys feel completely comfortable in the water with his enthusiasm and constant encouragement. The waves at Ventura Beach were perfect for learning. It was such a fantastic experience for us a family! Thanks again Ben! You are awesome in every way!

5.00Our 15 yo and 11 yo have surf lessons with Seth. He was great! They both want to do it again before we leave. Our 11 yo was scared and don’t want to try it when we first got here. Thank you Seth!
