  Marko was an excellent guide and kept us all totally engaged. While you can certainly walk the walls without a guide, knowing the history and understanding culture from a local guide makes it that much better. Thank you Marko!

  My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Marco was engaging, informative and our 5-person tour was well paced with lots of stops for viewing the city, taking pictures and asking questions. We learned so much about both history and modern living within the walls of Dubrovnik. Would highly, nightly recommend!

  Marko was an amazing tour guide! He was so informative about the history of Dubrovnik, the culture and his own experiences of being a lifelong resident of the Old Town. He made it really fun by adding a competitive aspect among our group of 6. He had a great sense of humor. We were totally engaged and he was able to answer any question we threw at him. We all enjoyed the tour thoroughly! We also really liked exploring the southern part of the City Walls on our own and at our own pace. Enjoyed stopping for a drink along the walls and soaking in the incredible views. We highly recommend this tour! Thank you, Marko!

  We did the Dubrovnik Walls walk with our tour guide Marko. In our two weeks in Croatia, it was the single best tour we did and Marko was an A++ quality guide. The zest and passion with which he conveyed the history had all four of us (19, 22, 54, 55) thoroughly engaged from start to finish. I cannot recommend this tour enough, same for Marko as a guide. I would do it earlier in the day when the weather is cooler and the crowds are sparse and then enjoy a drink at one of the two buza bars on the south wall where you enjoy beautiful views and the odd cliff diver.

  Our guide and his family live within the walls of the old city. As such, he represents and relates a living, breathing personal, life's history of his city.

  Marko was a wonderful local guide. He interspersed interesting historical facts while also giving us an idea of what it's like to be a resident of the old city. He was a fun story teller and really brought the city alive for us. I am very glad that we chose to have him as our local guide rather than just walking the city walls on our own
