• Charlie was amazing!

  We just got back from an amazing tour with Charlie McCurdy! This is his first season touring with the company but we couldn’t tell at all. He’s been coming to Yellowstone since he was a kid and that is what makes his tour so special. We truly enjoyed every minute, and were able to see grizzly and black bears, as well as elk, bison, osprey, sandhill crane. We also visited many of the famous attractions in the park and traveling around in the suburban together was easy. Charlie made it enjoyable because he was easy to talk to and honestly helped balance out our family of 4 that includes two teen boys. Charlie, has his own boys and knew just how to engage ours. Having Charlie brought a calm and friendly personality to the trip and was just what we needed! Overall I’d rate our experience as perfect. We told him what we wanted to see and he delivered all day long. The sack lunch provided was great and the binoculars and spotting scope were very helpful. Charlie even adapted his phone to the spotting scope to record videos of what we’re seeing and then shared them with us at the end of the trip. I highly recommend Hayden Valley Nature Tours when visiting Yellowstone you won’t be disappointed.

  Hayden Valley Nature Tours is an excellent choice for visiting Yellowstone. CHARLEE IS AWESOME! Best guide out in Yellowstone. He’s prompt, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and he really cares about giving you the best experience you can have. Highly recommend. Ask for Charlee.

  For a small company, Brian & Brandon do an incredible job. Brandon was very responsive and helpful with our request to modify our reservation to another day and to a longer tour. Brian is a great guide. He brought us to see 4 grizzlies, providing excellent photos & videos via his spotting scope which were a treasure to take with us. We monitored the Wapiti wolf den throughout the day, and while we missed an opportunity to see them closer up - Brian shared long range videos of what we observed. We also watched a group of male bison challenging each other in a fight. Brian brought us to see Harlequin ducks which were very cool. And we hadn’t made it over to Yellowstone Falls yet prior to our tour so he brought us there as well. Overall, we highly recommend this tour and Brian as your guide!

• Awesome Animals!

  This wild life tour really delivered! I saw a Mama Grizzly bear and cub! Our tour guide Brian knew exactly where it might be possible to see a bear and we saw them twice! Once by the Yellowstone Lake which is absolutely huge, and later after a great lunch. They were crossing the road this time and were really close. I also saw mountain goats, elk, mule deer, tons of bison and wolves! The wolf chase was particularly exciting as we would drive in our SUV to an area that had a report of wolf sightings communicated via walkie talkie. There is no cell phone service in the park! I caught a glimpse of one grey wolf walking up the foothills and also later through the trees. I also saw a black wolf looking through the guide's scope and cell phone attached that made it possible to see as the wolf was on the other side of the valley.   I really loved this tour. We saw a grizzly mama and her cub. Our tour guide Brain was so knowledgeable about where to track her down , in a safe place, to where she crossed the road in front of our vehicle. It was amazing. We saw many bisons, elk, mule deer, mountain goats and moose. It was so amazing. I still can’t believe we saw a grizzly that close. The lunch was very good and of course being able to pull over and have a cup of coffee provided by our guides really hit the spot. It was all-in-all, a wild and exciting tour. I would definitely do it again.
