Great People of Antigua

5.00I wanted to share my experience with a recent trip to Antigua at the Pineapple Beach Resort. We travel most years to the Caribbean in the winter (Canada) and there is always a concern if an accident or medical condition occurs. Well recently, March 02, 2026 I had an freak accident at the resort (my doing) and I broke a toe. The resort from the minute the accident occurred to the minute I left Antigua was A+. Many of the staff took excellent care of me and provided services such as organizing taxi services, carting my common-law and I all over the resort and bringing food, ice, water etc to my room. A variety of staff stopping no matter where I was at the resort and checking on me. A big thank you to Mac, Delroy, Vincent, Antoinette and several others that i did not get their names. Also a big thank you for Curtis the taxi driver that we used several times. This man is in a class by himself. Excellent mannered and a great human being. A big thank you to the Anitigua Hospital staff for their help and a special thank you to Dr. Nerissa Mourillon. In summary go to Antigua and enjoy your holiday and if you get hurt, "you are in excellent hands"

5.00We enjoyed three really fun days (and four nights), in contact with nice people, in a place that took care of every detail. We drank very good wines and dined on typical dishes in the restaurant (included in the price). Our guide was really interesting and answered all our questions about wine and the region. We collected wonderful memories of our trip to Tuscany!
