Independence Monument
独立記念碑： この歴史的特徴は、カンパラ市内の見どころの1つです。 6メートルの高さまで見事にそびえ立つこの記念碑は、1962年の独立の達成を記念しています。 グランドインペリアルホテル、シェラトンホテル、スタンダードチャータードバンクに囲まれたカンパラの中心部に位置しています。 1962年のウガンダの独立を祝う1年前に、イギリス植民地政権によって制定されました。 この歴史的な特徴は、男が子供を解き、空に触れるように子供を育てることを描いています。 これは、植民地主義の束縛から解放された新生国を示しています。 独立記念碑はグレゴリーマゴバによって作成され、ウガンダアポロミルトンオボテ（R.I.P）ファミリーの最初の首相によって発表されました。 エドワード・ムティーサ2世記念碑： これは、独立記念碑に近接したスピークロードとナイルアベニュージャンクションに位置しています。 この記念碑は、独立したウガンダの初代大統領であり、ブガンダ王国の第35代国王であるエドワード・ムテサ2世irがウガンダの独立闘争に向けた彼の業績を記念して建てられました。 この機能の促進は、2007年にウガンダ銀行ルーフィングリミテッドとゴードンワヴァムノ氏（地元の起業家）によって支えられ、最終的にロナルドムウェンダムテビのカバカによって発表されました。

Did the walking tour and the chimpanzee trekking

5.00I first did the walking tour with Musa and it was really nice walking around the city and seeing the market and the mosque. A few days later I did the chimpanzee trekking and it was nice to see them close and we also stayed at a nice hotel! Would definitely recommend to everyone!!

5.00The guide Musa took me on a free walking tour through Kampala and he did a fabulous job. He has a vast knowledge about his city and its culture, showed me both tourist sights and local places and let me try different typical food. He was showing me his city less as a guide and more as a friend. Thank you, Musa!

5.00Had an awesome day walking around Kampala with Musa. We explored all sorts of places I would not have felt comfortable going on my own and even after the walking tour was done he came and did the other things we wanted to do like see the Palace, find some material to buy and even walked us back to our hostel, telling us tips and tricks and fun facts along the way. So generous with his time and so knowledgeable of the city. Will definitely be exploring another part of the city with Musa soon!
