  We had an absolutely incredible experience with Anacortes Kayak Tours! From start to finish, the entire operation was professional, seamless, and incredibly welcoming. The staff did a fantastic job of making sure everyone in our family felt completely safe, comfortable, and excited before we even hit the water. Our guide, Bence, was exceptional—not only highly skilled and knowledgeable about the local waters, but also fantastic at keeping everyone engaged with fascinating insights about the local wildlife and history. Porpoises, eagles, herons… everything you hope to see. The highlight was an harbor seal, swimming up beside the kayaks, rolling on his back, and my daughter swears it waved to say hello. Gliding through the stunning scenery was breathtaking, and experiencing the natural beauty of the area from the water was unforgettable. It was the perfect balance of a great outdoor activity and a relaxing, scenic adventure. If you are looking for a top-tier, family-friendly excursion with a team that truly cares about giving you a great experience, look no further. We cannot recommend Anacortes Kayak Tours enough and will absolutely be back!

  My young adult grandkids were visiting Anacortes, had taken the 3 hour tour a few years ago and were excited to do it again. Megan, the owner, was very helpful in scheduling, their tour guide was wonderful, and they had a great time paddling around Burrows and Allan Island. It was the highlight of their PNW trip!

  This morning I enjoyed a 3 hour tour with Lara at AKT. It was a great morning and experience. I was well cared for on the trip. I always knew what to expect next. I enjoyed porpoise, seals, sea lions, jelly fish, and enjoyed looking at the geological features of this area. This was my first time trying some bull kelp which I liked very much. I will likely explore more of their offerings and consider bringing guests when we have visitors.

  We had an amazing time on our 3 hour, morning tour. Our guide Kai Nichols was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable on all the wildlife, and we were so fortunate to see so much. Kai put safety first and was extremely patient educating my partner since it was his first time ever kayaking. We appreciated his positive energy, dedication to his craft and his constant attention to the environment and tides. Hope to book another trip with him again this summer. He was the perfect guide and an exceptional young man. A shout out to the owner, Megan too. She was mindful we were a novice couple exploring the sport and looked up the tides and made suggestions accordingly. Overall, exceptional experience! Thank you!

• Bio luminous tour from Anacortes

  It was a girlfriend’s weekend getaway. We had an amazing time. The bio luminous were a little light in May but we did see some and I am sure as the summer warms up it would be magnificent. We did have several seals following us and poking their heads up to say hi.! Well, that was our interpretation:-) great experience the guides were informed and friendly. Would highly recommend.

  We went on the 3 hour Kayak in Mid-October. Our guide, Leo, was amazing and very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. We saw a ton of different birds, harbor seals, and harbor porpoise. Highly recommend it.

  So much fun and they were great communicators. I booked same day and they called and said, we’ll be happy to take you out this afternoon! Just wanted to let you know there’s going to be strong current and you might have more fun tomorrow morning. But whatever you want to do is good with us! I appreciated that honesty so much and the options. We moved to the next morning and had an amazing kayak with Caleb.

  We did a three hour kayaking trip. We'd never been in a sea kayak before but our guide Gwen took care of everything and showed us what to do. The time flew by. We visited the old Lighthouse and saw sea birds and harbor seals. Perfect day and perfect weather. Gwen was great. Relaxed, knowledgeable and fun. • Awesome Team Building Experience

  We held our 18 person company team building event doing the 3 hr kayaking experience at 8:30am. It was perfect. Everyone was so happy and positive about the experience. We had 2- 3 person kayaks and 6- 2 person kayaks amongst our group. We took breaks often for learning opportunities which afforded an opportunity to rest arms and drink water for all. We saw harbor seals, harbor porpoises, 3 bald eagles, blue heron and sea stars. We had pretty calm water so I don't think this event pushed us beyond any of our capabilities. The staff was professional and helpful. Megan(owner) was super helpful leading up to the event to make sure we were all squared away so we weren't wasting time on paperwork on the day of the event. As far as team building goes, what an opportunity to interact with people on your boat as well as the boats around you. Plenty of picture taking opportunities as well as time on the open water to learn about each other and work as a team steering the kayaks.
