Me and my friend did this on a Monday evening, although we didn't really see a sunset as the clouds were covering the sun it was a great evening. We got to see all 3 islands, stop for some food and drinks and go for a swim. Our guide Pedro was attentive, helpful and knowledgeable, telling us about the history of the island and was a great guy to joke around with. I'd definitely recommend this experience if you are visiting Faro.

I recommend this trip to everyone who spent their holiday in Faro. Our guid John was funny but we've received not only the information about the islands and the national Park but also stories about how life looks like there.

This 5-hour boat tour of the Ria Formosa islands was fabulous! My boat captain was Pedro, a young 21-year-old who spoke at least 3 languages fluently (impressive). Communicated in both French and English for my tour regaling the group with both historical and fun facts about the islands. Our trip went a little longer than 5 hours as Pedro allowed us a bit more beach time at the islands. Great half day tour that was worth the price and time to see Ria Formosa. Scorching sun and no shade on any island though, so go prepared (overshirt or umbrella), I am taking home an extremely painful sunburn from my time wandering the beaches! Don’t miss this boat trip, highly suggest with a 5-star rating!

John, Juan, Jean ; All these people are nice but we prefer by far João for his experience, knowledge and personality. During the tour, we think about nothing but to escape, and enjoy the wonderful moment we had. Many thanks for Switzerland.
If you can just visit Culatra dont worry about the other islands

Joao was very knowledgeable and keep spirts high throughout the trip. We started at the dock in Faro the lady who delt with our booking was very nice asked if we wanted her to make a dinner reservation or if we had our own food. She explained what was involved in every stop. Stop one was 45 minutes on a beach no snorkeling though Stop two was 35 minutes on a island that we explored Stop three (not a actual stop) looking at where Oysters were farmed Stop four was for two hours the best stop and one id of spent the whole day at so much so Id actaully like to holiday on that specifc island in the future. A really fascinating concept and one id aspire to live, as off grid as possible.

This was a fun trip, the weather was perfect. There were stops at 3 islands, including one called Desert Island. It lived up to the name. I could have skipped that one for more time on the others.
The great tour with good foods, views, and the guide.

We really had fun. The operator was so nice and her explanation was clear. The driver was also nice, he made us smile and the navigation was interesting. We would recommend this tour to people who wants to explore this destination.
