• A Perfect Introduction to Lucerne

  As first-time visitors to Switzerland, this trip was exactly what we were looking for. We usually prefer to avoid tours with large groups, fixed schedules, or additional guides where you constantly have to follow a strict program. What we really appreciated about this experience was the perfect balance between organization and independence. Our driver picked us up directly from the hotel, made the journey from Zurich smooth and comfortable, and dropped us at all the main spots while giving us plenty of free time to explore at our own pace. The city centre is usually all accessible by walk. This allowed us to enjoy Lucerne exactly the way we wanted, without feeling rushed. We especially loved visiting the Lion Monument, walking around Chapel Bridge, and taking in the beautiful lake views. The flexibility made the day much more enjoyable, as we could spend more time at places we liked and move on whenever we wanted. A special mention to our driver, who was patient, professional, and very helpful throughout the day. We were also looking for a good store to buy cosmetics, and he kindly helped us find exactly what we needed. Overall, this was a very well-organized tour that still gave us complete freedom and independence something we value a lot when traveling. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a stress-free but flexible way to explore Lucerne.

  My partner and I had an amazing day trip to Lucerne from Zurich. From the very beginning, everything was smooth, comfortable, and well organized, which made the whole experience stress-free. Lucerne is truly one of the most beautiful places we visited in Switzerland. We loved walking through the charming old town, exploring the historic streets, and admiring the stunning views by the lake. Chapel Bridge was definitely one of the highlights and such a beautiful spot to spend time. We found great souvenirs for gifts as well. Having private transportation made a big difference, as it allowed us to relax and enjoy the journey without worrying about logistics. Hotel Pick Up and drop with a nice clean vehicle. The trip was comfortable, flexible, and perfectly paced. This was easily one of the highlights of our stay in Zurich, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing day trip.

  We are from india in our late thirties and we always saw Switzerland in the movies. Bollywood movies show Switzerland so regularly and i am a die hard fan of Yash Chopra movies. We did an organised tour with one indian tour operator and utilised our free day to do this trip on our own. We realised that in our next trip we should live at the shores of Lake Lucerne and not in Zurich. Anyways the trip was awesome. Very well organised. Thanks Viator and thanks to the agency Passion who was the local partner

  It was a long wait to get our visas for Switzerland but it was definitely worthwhile. Just loved this trip and happy to see the lion monument which i had seen in Indian movies. We bought loads of chocolates. Beautiful drive from Zurich, very safe and discreet driver. Highly recommend this trip if you want to see the city of Lucerne and it's lake. Though we didn't find the option to do a lake cruise with lunch, it was still a beautiful experience to do a boat ride which costed 20 CHF a ticket for nearly one hour.

  Great trip booked via our french travel agent. We could utilise the free time in Zurich to visit this city before our flight back to India. The drives in Switzerland are amazingly scenic. We went for a conference and didn't get much time to visit. This trip was awesome and and we felt absorbed in local ambience. Bravo to our driver sasha who did a great job

  Lovely weather and no rain... beautiful sunny day. Impossible to explain how lucky we felt on our trip from Zurich to lucerne. The trip was perfectly Organized. Clean cab with a punctual and good driver. I haven't yet understood if it's Lucerne or Luzern but it's worth visiting. We went in a luxury taxi with this private tour and the train station was so amazing to visit. Luckily our driver recommended us to visit the train station called Bahnhof. It's like a small city with shopping center. Lucerne is a great place for shopping.

  Beautiful lake of Lucerne, we took a boat in some free time. It's a must do for all. You can find the boats right opposite the famous watch and jewellery shop bucherer. You get a discount will some local passes. Else it's 25 CHF for one hour boat ride. Be careful with your shopping spirit...they Money gets spent so fast at the beautiful city of Lucerne. Chocolates, watches, jewelery you have everything there. Our driver was from Prague but he knew the area very well. Nice family trip to resume it in few words.
