  If Luca is your tour guide then this is not really a guided tour, just chasing a fast-walking man around the city. To start, there was no sign labeled “JAT” like there was supposed to be to meet your guide. I was literally yelling his name at the meeting point for 15 minutes and he did not show up until 8:30 (tour information said it started at 8 am). Bus didn’t show up until 9 AM so we only got to have 15 minutes in Pisa. Luca did not give our group any information, he did however do a great job of making sure we navigated public transportation. He then left us alone in Pisa to get back on our own with the driver. This was not worth the price at all.

  I wish I could give a zero star. We couldn't get on the excursion as they are not able to find my name. Attempted to get my refund and they insisted we were not at the right meeting point. The voucher provided by Viator doesn't has the correct tour operator. After asking the local people and showed them the name of the port, they told us we were at the right location. We were very upset and attempted to get our refund and ofcoz they put the fault on us not to follow the instructions correctly.

  We were traveling as a group of friends and wanted something informative but not too intense. This tour worked well for us. The guide, Elena, kept things light while still giving useful context about the sites. It felt more like walking around with someone knowledgeable than being on a formal tour.

  I usually book a walking tour when I arrive somewhere new, and this one was a good choice. The pace was comfortable and never felt rushed, which I appreciated after a long travel day. Our guide, Sofia, explained the history in a way that was easy to follow without feeling too heavy. I especially liked the smaller details she pointed out that I would have otherwise missed. Overall, a nice introduction to the city.

  We joined this tour during our short stay and found it really enjoyable. Our guide, Marco, shared a mix of historical facts and personal stories that made everything feel more relatable. It didn’t feel overly scripted, which we liked. There was also time to ask questions, which added to the experience.

  What stood out to us was how natural the whole experience felt. Lukas, our guide, didn’t stick to a rigid script and allowed conversations to develop along the way. At times it felt more like walking around with a local who knows their history well. We also appreciated the smaller group size—it made everything more relaxed.

  We joined with our two kids and found the tour quite manageable. Our guide, Luca, adjusted the explanations so they weren’t too long or complicated. He even included a few fun facts that kept the kids interested. The pacing was also family-friendly, with enough breaks along the way.

• Wonderful Florence and Pisa

  unfortunately we were very disappointed in the amount of free time we were alloted in Florence and Pisa. The tour guide in Florence was so detailed it took a long time to get to the square where all the historical very well known buildings.( Duomo, statue of David which is a replica on the outside of the Academia Museum, didn't go near it !!!! and the Ufitzi Museum which is the first museum in the world. He pointed out the corner of the building! We had literally 1 hour in the square of Florence including lunch. (in Italy the restaurants want your to take your time when eating so you enjoy it ) So basically no time to look around. This is my second trip to Florence so I am fully aware of what we missed. My travel partners missed all the important historical buildings and areas in Florence. In Pisa we were left at the bus parking waiting for the cab the tour guide called for us. ( 3 cabs with 4 people in each cab. The 3rd cab never showed up. We were left there. He left with the walking group. By the time we waited and walked through the town of Pisa we again had limited time. Take a picture and leave. We unable to go into the church, baptistery and the leaning tower of Pisa! Our tickets stated tickets were included.

  Do not take this excursion if you have any kind of difficulty walking. There’s just too much of it and there was hardly any time to spend actually seeing Florence. In addition to paying for the excursion, we had to pay for taxis because my husband could absolutely not walk that much. I gave this a thumbs down.
