  I really enjoyed the boat trip with 5emotions. The boat was clean and comfortable, the marine biologists were so knowledgeable and friendly and the try itself was so much fun!

  For the value (cost vs. experience), it is probably the best tour I've ever taken. The marine biologist we had (Sofia), is well-educated, intelligent, enthusiastic, and she interacted with the entire group and gave the tour in 3 languages. She has a wonderful smile, and one can tell that she really likes her profession. Since dolphins are wild animals, sightings can't be guaranteed, but the operator knows where to look. We twice saw a group of about 20 playful dolphins and probably spent about 45 minutes with them. Sophia explained the behaviors we observed. We took a tour down the coast and saw many natural cave formations. There was a short stop for people to swim if they desired. The operator will seat you as you arrive. You can view everything from either side of the boat. However, if you are into photography, the left-hand side or the very front of the boat works better for shore photos because the trip is one-way on the coast then a return through open water. Meet the operator at a small booth beside other operators' booth near the beach. It is right by the fort and the shopping complex. There are restrooms in the complex. We walked from the cruise terminal. The terminal has free wifi so you can get directions on your phone. Basically, hang left until you get to where the docks are, then take a right, follow the docks, pass the fort, and you will see the booths. The walk is not shaded so it will get hot in the summer.

  Excellent tour! We saw many dolphins and caves up close. The staff were fun, knowledgeable, and kind staff. The boat was well maintained and safe. I highly recommend this tour!

  This Benagil Cave and dolphin tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. We were lucky enough to see plenty of dolphins during the tour—there were at least 30 dolphins swimming and playing in the area, which made the experience unforgettable. The tour lasted about 2.5 hours, and the time flew by because there was always something exciting to see. The Benagil Cave and coastline were absolutely beautiful, and getting to experience them from the water was incredible. A special shoutout to our host, who did an amazing job throughout the tour. She spoke in four different languages to make sure everyone on board could understand and enjoy the information being shared, which was very impressive and made the experience feel welcoming for everyone. Overall, it was a well-organized, fun, and memorable tour. If you’re visiting the Algarve, I highly recommend this experience. Seeing the dolphins in their natural habitat and exploring the caves was something I’ll never forget. Would definitely do this tour again!

  My husband and I recently enjoyed the boat tour from Portimão. It was fabulous. The crew were very knowledgeable and made the boat trip a lot of fun. We saw a large pod of dolphins. The marine biologist explained about these dolphins and other marine life. Then we headed for the Algarve coast and explored a bunch of caves. It was a beautiful day and the water was pretty calm. It was amazing to see the view of the coast from the water.

  We had a fantastic tour! The boat experience was amazing, seeing the dolphins was absolutely breathtaking, and the caves were a really fun addition. My only issue was the seating arrangement on the boat. As a solo parent with three children, we were split up, which didn’t feel necessary. There was space on a longer bench where we could have sat together, but instead my 12-year-old had to sit separately next to strangers, which made her very uncomfortable as she’s quite socially anxious. It was especially frustrating as another group of five adults were seated together 👎🏼 it would have made much more sense to keep a parent and children together. That said, it was still a memorable experience overall, and with a bit more thought around seating, it would have been absolutely perfect. Highly recommend though. Tip- Take a drink and jacket/blanket

  Great experience, from the registration. The communication was perfect. The whole team is enthusiastic, attentive to the participants, and the information provided is very interesting. And we were able to see plenty of dolphins 🐬 and two whales 🐳! Excursion highly recommended without hesitation!
