Ness Islands

Excellent Private Tour of Inverness Sights

5.00We chose this tour because we arrived on a cruise ship for the day and wanted to make the most of our limited time in Invergordon/Inverness. The cost was right in line with the cruise ship’s tours, but instead of being in a large group on a big bus, we had our own guide and nice van for the 4 of us, so we were able to see and do exactly what we wanted to do. Our guide, Stuart, was fun and brought the history of the sites to life. The highlights were the Culloden Battlefield, the Clava Cairn Stones and the whiskey distillery visit. We had each place pretty much to ourselves and Stuart pointed out and explained features most tourists would never see or understand without his commentary. I highly recommend the Historic and Scenic Tours company and Stuart in particular if you plan to visit Inverness.

5.00We had a blast on this tour! Our guide, Stuart was awesome! He gave us so much information and really let us set the pace for our day. One person in our group uses a wheelchair for some of the longer walks/stops and it all went very smoothly. I would highly recommend this tour.
