• Would probably be better if not over a public holiday

  Would have been much better if advised that most things would be closed as day before public holiday. Burnt rice fields didn't happen,. Batik village shut, 1st set of shops shut, last set of duty free open. MASURI shrine open but not all of the shops. Guide was helpful and knowledgeable and spoke good English. Had long enough at places, saw Eagle square and beach and plenty of photo opportunities. So not totally dissatisfied. Just coincided with end of Ramadan., but would be good to know before booked trip so could do another day.

  Very complete and pleasant tour in Langkawi. We had time to visit a lot of different and interesting places like batik hand made shop, eagle square, matsuri place, Cable car and bird nest. Mr Ram our driver was very helpfull and friendly.

• Mangrove trip

  What a great day we had with Khairul, After an initial confusion over where we needed to go the trip was fantastic. We took the trip from a cruise ship- walk down to the car park area- do not take the shuttle bus to town which takes 30 minutes. Great boat ride around the mangroves- this was well worth a visit.... Visited the big Eagle statue, tour statue and had lunch and our guide took some top notch photos along the way. We really enjoyed our day

• Beautiful Introduction to Lankawi

  Our guide Ram communicated arrangements to us beforehand and met us promptly at the Cruise terminal. We were able to tailor the tour and he suggested adding a Mangrove boat tour which he arranged while we were visiting the Mahsuri tomb site. What a beautiful area of the Island and legend. Along our way Ram pointed out landmarks, mountains and explained the history of the areas we travelled through. He was able to answer our many questions and give us a sense of the beautiful Island and it’s people. A much slower pace, less traffic, mountain and beach scenery, friendly people. The private Mangrove tour was excellent and our boatman pointed out many additional facts and legends. The enormous Sea Eagles with impressive wingspans and expansive mangrove forests are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site including fish farm, bat caves and a cave which can be transitted at low tide. At Kuah town we stopped to view the Langkawi Brahmin Eagle statue and “Eiffel tower”, rounding out our trip with a visit to the duty free store near the port. Thank you Ram “of Langkawi” for a most enjoyable day. Would highly recommend this tour!
