  I signed up for the coastal explorer tour thinking it would be a slow tour along the coast. We did that and much more, visiting the lakes and covering the important landmarks inland from the island. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge on both the history and natural aspects of the island. Not to mention the Segways are just pure fun. Highly recommend.

  Had a great 2 hour tour on Rottnest with Lauren (legend!). We were very lucky that the two of us were the only ones so it was super personal and Lauren went out of her way to tailor the trip to what we wanted to see - Quokkas!! Her coaching on how to use the Segway was amazing and made it so easy to do, we were pros in no time! Just an amazing adventure had, saw lots of Quokkas and got some history about the island that we didn't know. Lauren was amazing, cannot rate her highly enough!! And cannot recommend this way to get around the island more - was a total blast!

  100% recommend this for a fun day out at Rotto!! The Segways are much easier than expected to handle after our initial tutorial. Feet felt bit odd after first 20 minutes or so but soon got used to it. Harriette our guide for the two hour adventure was great, very knowledgeable, super-friendly and down to earth. She made us all feel like experts by the end. We wanted to hire bikes but the Segways ended up being a much better option during a hot summer afternoon. Thanks to the team for a fantastic experience!

• Great way to see Rottnest

  We were really pleased we chose the coastal Explorer option as the extra time allowed us to get much further on the island. Rottnest is pretty hilly so we enjoyed this over bikes. The segways were great fun and the safety instructions and supervision were well balanced for both fun and safety. The audio commentary by our guide james (via headset) was interesting and gave us a good overview of the island. Definitely go for the longer tour.

  10 out of 10 recommend. This is my second experience rolling with James from Rottnest Island's Segway Tour team. An excellent guide with a great sense of humour, who kept us engaged and under control on this cool adventure. We decided to dress as Paul Bart, from Mall Cop, to make my birthday a little bit more fun. Patrolling the island in formal tie with a badge and kids in tow with moustaches. Segging around with honorary Captain James was super cool. Our highlights had to be the lighthouse stop, seeing the seals, and zipping through the roads past the pink lakes. Thanks so much for another awesome tour of the island! The team at Segway Tours even put on an extra tour date just for us, they are super accommodating! • Perfect guided tour that was sweet!

  Our group of friends and couples had an absolutely great time exploring and learning about Rottnest. We were met by a gorgeous young lady who had a vibrancy and charisma that immediately suggested that we would have a great experience. And we did! Harriet introduced herself and then efficiently proceeded to prepare us all for our tour. We all quickly learned how to use the Segways which were excellent - responsive, balanced and maneuverable. Once we began Harriet’s character truly shone - she had a fabulous happy disposition and seemed to have a genuine love for what she was doing. She loved the wildlife and island. She as careful and thoughtful of our safety and that of others. I really believe that the tour was enormously enhanced by Harriet and her vibrant personality - everything was “perfect” or “sweet” !! Which is what I think she was - perfect and sweet. Truly an asset to any organization. Thank you.

  The tour was great. The tour guides were very kind patient and considerate. Even though my wife struggled to operate the Segway, Amelia was patient and helpful with her. I would recommend the tour.
