  Beautiful lake cruise, with amazing cog train up to Pilatus Peak. Tram ride down. There is a city bus back to starting point (no a/c). Overall, a nice way to get a one day overview of the highlights of Lucerne. Well organized. The guide (Salma) was friendly and very social. When asked, she had very good information to share on various aspects of life in Switzerland. We didn’t get really any history, which would have been helpful, but enjoyed the trip nonetheless.

  We did this trip with Salma as our guide and she was wonderful! She made sure we were comfortable and having fun! We were with a group of about 12 people and she did a great job making sure we knew what we were doing and where to be. We loved her! The trip itself started with a 2 hour boat ride around lake Lucerne and it was so beautiful and peaceful. We took the cogwheel train up to Mt Pliatus and enjoyed the views for about an hour. Then we took the gondola back down with beautiful views.

  Our small group tour was enjoyable because we had only us and our guide. She was very accommodating and flexible. Our guide also shared many interesting facts.

  Fabulous experience exploring Lake Lucerne and Mt Pilatus. Amazing views and the small hikes at the top are a must do/see. Loved it all.

  I had an absolutely incredible experience on the Lake Lucerne & Mt. Pilatus tour on June 3rd 2026, and a significant part of what made it so meaningful was the guide, Mary! From the very beginning, Mary stood out for her genuine warmth, professionalism, and heartfelt kindness. She carried herself with a calm confidence and quiet dedication that immediately put everyone at ease. It was clear that she takes deep pride in her work, not just as a guide, but as someone who truly cares about the experience and well-being of every guest in her care. Throughout the tour, Mary demonstrated remarkable attentiveness and emotional intelligence. She consistently made sure that every individual felt seen, included, and comfortable, regardless of their background or pace. Her compassion was not only visible in her words, but in her actions, whether it was gently checking in on guests, offering support without being asked, or taking the time to ensure no one ever felt left behind or rushed. • Lincoln from Brazil makes Lucern tour AMAZING !!!

  My tour guide Lincoln from Brazil provided a 5 star tour! His tips were appreciated and the information he shared made the day memorable and fun! Despite poor visibility due to way out trip captured amazing clouds, snow and rainy photos of Lake Lucerne the surrounding mountains. The tour company failed to let me know that I was the only group making the Mt Rigi stop (which I had paid extra for), as a result I was informed that the advertised end of the trip on the Viator booking would be exceeded by 2 hrs and 30 minutes. As a result of other commitments, I was unable to make that stop and Tours of Switzerland would not reimburse me the difference between what I paid and the services and expectations that were given to me from Viator booking.
