Valley of the Kings
一日の始まりは、王家の谷 (王家の門の谷とも呼ばれる) を訪れることです。ここはエジプトの谷で、紀元前 16 世紀から 11 世紀にかけての約 500 年間、新王国時代のファラオや有力貴族の岩窟墓が発掘されました。

Edfu Temple
エドフ神殿は、エジプト北部のエドフのナイル川西岸に位置するエジプトの神殿です。この都市は、ヘレニズム時代には、ギリシャ語のコイネー語で Ἀπόλλωνος πόλις、ラテン語ではアポロノポリス マグナとして知られていました。これは、解釈ギリシャ語ではアポロと同一視されていた主神ホルスにちなんで名付けられました。

5.00After sailing down the Dahabiya Nile, we arrived in Edfu and explored the impressive Temple of Horus. The detailed hieroglyphics and well-preserved structures were truly amazing. Later, we visited the unique double temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to Sobek and Horus.
