  Elly was a fantastic guide, bringing a wealth of sumo knowledge and a genuine passion for the sport. Any and all questions were welcomed, and a few small gifts were also provided which was much appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to attend a Grand Sumo Tournament in the future!

  We attended the May tournament in Tokyo with Elly, our fantastic and truly passionate guide, who was brilliant at explaining the history, rules, the best current sumo wrestlers and ones to watch. Elly's passion for Sumo rubbed off onto the entire group. Highly recommend as it was a highlight to me and my wife on our honeymoon and a lot of fun. Elly was great at answering any questions and was very easy to get along with! We had a great time and will be following the sport. Thanks!

  This is no doubt the best way to experience the Sumo Grand Tournament for anyone, especially those who are not as well versed in Sumo. Elly does an amazing job explaining every aspect of Sumo and had the answer to every question we had. Not only is Elly a knowledgeable guide, but she is also a dedicated Sumo fan herself which adds to the experience. The seats we had were in the upper tier, but there is not a bad seat to be had. This is truly a special cultural experience and one that is extremely limited. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to have experienced or first tournament with someone as knowledgeable and dedicated to her profession as Elly.

  Elly was exceptional, both in her organization, explanations and kindness. We loved our experience and vexed her and if we could do it again tomorrow, we would do it without hesitation!

  This was such an awesome experience. Elly is extremely knowledgeable about sumo and was clearly someone who cares about the sport. We had such a great time with her and would absolutely recommend doing a tour with her.

  Awesome way to enjoy the tradition and sport of Sumo. Excellent venue and atmosphere. Learned a lot and had a great time. Our guide Elly was extremely knowledgeable. Her love of Sumo creates added excitement to the festivities.

  i wrote a much more eloquent review but a trip advisor bug wiped it...0 stars for them 5+ stars for elly! she is a passionate sumo fan, so not only did i gain an understanding of the rules and traditions of the sport, i was just as excited as she was for her favorite wrestler's bouts. elly gave us encyclopedic levels of knowledge on the history of sumo, and she is also super keen on the business operations of the association. no question was left unanswered. i hope to watch sumo with elly again in the future!
