  This was a fantastic experience. Our guide Bri was very knowledgeable and personable, sharing fun facts about the Valley and animals as we hiked around bison herds, spotted pronghorn antelope, but alas, saw no bear. We’d highly recommend this experience and Bri as your guide.

  We had a great time! The guides were amazing and very patient with our children's questions. They took frequent breaks and made safety the top priority. We got to see bison, coyotes, pronghorns, ground squirrels, badgers and more. Highly recommend this for first timers to Yellowstone!

• Five hour Lamar Valley hike.

  This five hour, five mile hike was $182 per person. My sister and I went with 8 other people and two guides. Everyone was helpful. We had a beautiful warm day. We saw pronghorn, Uinta ground squirrels, marmots, lots of bison, a badger, an eagle. The guides took hiker abilities into consideration, finding an easier, flatter route for my sister and I so we wouldn't have to climb another hill. Got us safely past a herd of over 200 bison. I highly recommend Bob and Parker, the guides. They were very knowledgeable about the area and what they didn't know, they looked up. My sister and I are in our 60's and not in the best of shape and they took that into consideration. It was really an amazing experience.

  Our day hike with Bob Clark was amazing. We saw so much wildlife! Additionally, Bob is well versed in the geology, vegetation and history of Yellowstone. My wife and I highly recommend him.

  My 2 young adult kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our guided hike with Emily Jo and Maddie! When I asked the kids at the end of our vacation about favorites from our trip - they both immediately said it was this hike. Emily Jo was a wealth of knowledge about the area and the animals. She gave us a safety talk at the start which calmed my grizzly bear phobia and also educated me about safety around Bison. We saw dozens of bison and pronghorn antelopes, as well as ground squirrels, marmots, a badger, and a grizzly (happily across the river!) We also heard wolves howling and learned about the 2 nearby packs. We started the hike with coffee and tea in the parking lot and then had a bountiful and delicious lunch mid-hike. If we return to Yellowstone, we will definitely go another adventure with Yellowstone Hiking Guides!

  Bobby and Parker were super fun and informative guides! My friend and I learned so much about the wildlife and ecology of Lamar Valley. It was an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.
