  We had the most wonderful start to our trip in Medellin with this excursion! One of the many highlights was our tour guide, Luis Reyes. He picked us up on time at our hotel and was so kind, humble, and knowledgeable about the city. He shared many stories and histories of Medellin with us on the way, and was very comforting and encouraging as I began to experience some anxiety on the way up the mountain. He is the perfect example of the hospitality and noble character that is embodied by the people of Colombia. The actual folks working the paragliding were amazing as well! Professional, kind, comforting, and great at explaining the process. I felt very safe with my instructor, even as it got a bit windy while we were in flight. The view was spectacular and they include photos and videos in the package we purchased :) I don't know if I would do it again because I'm a scaredy cat, but my partner was ready to jump again right after he landed, and the experience as a whole, in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, is one I'll treasure for a lifetime.   Our guide, David, was a very nice and knowledgeable man. He made us feel very safe and ensured that we had a good time from beginning to end! Would highly recommend for first timers.

  Daniel picked us up at the hotel. we drove through the city and up the mountain to the paraglide spot it was a very scenic drive. this was my first time paragliding. I will say that if you're not good with going around in circles at the amusement parks, this may not be for you. I'm still glad I did it because it was a hell of an experience and made for some great videos that Daniel shot and gave us afterwards. My wife and I laughed our ass off afterwards. In my mind I felt like a gazelle running towards the cliff but in the video I look more like Shrek. Anyway great time and very good guides. you can't go wrong with these guys. And by the way Daniel I heard you laughing at my expense at the end of the video but we all laughed about it.

  I booked this trip for my mom and I to both try paragliding for the first time. We just happened to do this in Medellin. Our driver messaged me the day before to confirm our location and pick-up time, and he arrived early to our residence to pick us up in a private car. He took us to the paragliding school, which was around a 45 minute drive away from the Parque Poblado area. The school is private and run by an extremely friend family. You fill out some liability waivers and they give you a SD card for the GoPro and up the mountain you go! I didn't bring shoes and they even provided me with some footwear. It's a short climb up the mountain, and once you're up, you just provide them with the ticket and wait in queue. My mom went up right away, and I waited for her to come down to go paragliding. Both of us had a great time and loved our pilot, who was extremely friendly. We got some great pictures and videos of the experience. Our driver waited for us the entire time, and at one point even hiked back down the mountain and back up because my mom left her camera in the car. He dropped us off at a restaurant we requested for lunch. Obviously, it would be an expensive trip solo, but compared to other countries, this is an excellent value to paraglide over one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Everything was fast and smooth, and communication from the tour company was perfect. Highly recommended!
