5.00We had a fantastic time at Aveiro with our guide Vitor. Vitor made this excursion so special. His knowledge of the Porto region is exceptional and he made the trip so much fun. If you are doing a tour of Porto, make sure you ask for Vitor.

5.00Sergio is a good guide, kind, discreet and interesting. Their comments and knowledge made the visit very interesting. The place, very nice. We didn't like the experience so much that the next day we repeated another visit with Portugal Excellence Tours. Highly, highly recommended.
Do not trust Portugal Excellence Tours

1.00Do not trust this operator (or Viator) to do the right thing. It clearly states in the description of this tour that "This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund." On the day of the tour, it was raining buckets sideways due to the high wind in Porto and there were gale warnings for the area of the tour. I expected them to cancel which they did not. When I reached out to them, they did not respond to me. I called Viator to find out what was up and complain and Viator/Trip Advisor cancelled my reservation. However, the tour operator has refused to refund our money and Viator says, "they can do nothing".

5.00Ricardo was absolutely excellent. He paced the tour to our needs. He was personable and added little touches like local treats and advice on our areas of interest like recommending a locale for authentic fado. We loved the beach area and the contrast with the authentic fishing village. Fish market and salt flats (salinas) were great to see. Good boat ride. All round fun and informative experience!

3.00It’s a nice half day tour from Porto. It’s a beautiful small town with 2 canals with. Boat rides. However, besides boat ride there isn’t much-to-do. It if you are short of time, this trip may be skipped.
