  ADI is a wonderful tour guide. Always cheerful and polite. He knows different routes to avoid the traffic. He made good suggestions as an alternative visit spot since the waterfall was closed due to the rain. The snorkeling was fun too. Lots of fish, water clarity is good. We highly recommend this tour and ADI, the very nice tour guide.

  Overall great experience! It was our first time going to Bali and we really wanted to see the beaches and marine life that is around the beaches. Esa, our personal driver that picked us up from Canggu to go to Blue Lagoon, was a great driver! Gave us history of the place and was a joy to be around, was very accomodating with our request to stop along the drive for pictures! If you are in Bali, and can only afford 1 day to go snorkelling, this package is a good one for you!

  Adi, our driver, was a friendly face from beginning to end - taking us to a local coffee production plant on the way home and sharing laughs with us throughout. As for our snorkeling, our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and took great care of those who lacked confidence in the water.

  Komang Alu was excellent! He was extremely friendly and very helpful, and loves to share his culture and learn about yours. He drove us around for the full day and was absolutely amazing! We definitely recommend him as a driver and when we come back to Bali we will definitely use him again as our driver.

  A rather disappointing trip unfortunately. This excursion was one of two handfuls booked so compartively was a let down but there were some redeeming features. We booked this excursion under the guise that it was a private tour and private activity; that we'd have an a la carte lunch included and that we'd visit two waterfalls with a driver picking us up from our hotel and back -- and that it'd be a full ten hour excursion. Our first red flag was that the operator did not make contact with us in advance to confirm who our driver would be and we had to hope we'd be picked up, we only got this information on the morning of. Our driver, Esa, was actually brilliant and the only redeeming factor of the tour - 5* for Esa who picked us up on time, drove us there and back and was very friendly. Our first activity was snorkelling. Not only was this shorter than 2 hours, but it was not a private activity. We (3 pax) were on a boat with four other), and one of the other four passengers was not a confident swimmer who went into the water with their life jacket and a lifebuoy ring. This meant that there no private experience, no private guide and that there were limits to how far could be ventured in both locations - which were otherwise heaving with people and boats. On top of this, snorkelling only lasted 35 minutes across each location - almost an hour shorter than the two advertised hours. I later learned from the operator, despite it being advertised as a private snorkelling experience and private tour, it is common practice "across Bali to group up to 8 pax together... to cover [the operators] operational costs". We were also told that the 2 hours is weather-depending (otherwise mentioned nowhere in this advert), and mind you, despite 10 minutes of light rain, there was no poor weather. The changing and toilet facilities by the snorkelling sites were subpar and fair walk away from the meeting point. The lunch did not meet an a la carte standard. Despite being taken a decent cafe/resturant with a decent menu, we were given a dirty old laminated A4 menu and told we could choose one sandwich or nasi dish. We anticipated, as on our tours inclusive of lunch, that we would have a set menu wherein we could order from a set menu a starter, main and a dessert. This could have been adequately mitigated by clearly stating the lunch is not a la carte. After this, we were taken by Esa to visit the waterfalls and visited different waterfalls to the listed ones, which was agreed by us. The waterfalls were very nice and Esa kindly took photos of us and was gracious to offer carrying bags or helping us up and down some wet slippy terrain. On the drive back to the hotel, Esa did pressure us into giving him a five star review so that he would be able to "have a job tomorrow" which made us somewhat uncomfortable, especially as we were not back in our hotel yet either, and I received a follow up text message from Esa to check whether I had left a 5* review. We arrived at our hotel after an 8 hours excursion, almost 20% shorter than what we anticipated and we can't help but feel that we were cheated, and would have appreciated more time snorkelling as we planned. Unfortunately, I raised all our grievances to the operator who was not willing to concede error on their part nor issue even a partial refund. The operator, Made, brazenly stated this was standard across Bali and we can certainly confirm it is not. I have taken this up with Viator who after a lot of back and forth refunded us 50%. This is something the operator was not happy with and has maintained that despite being advertised as private twice in the listing, is not actually private. All in all, we had a pleasant enough excursion but it was not up to the standard that we wanted and expected, given we paid a little more opting for this tour over other similar tours, and expected the privilege of a private experience in its entirety. I am sure anyone booking would have a nice enough time but just beware - you will not be privately snorkelling, you likely won't get to snorkel for 2 hours, your lunch will be very small and of a limited selection, and your tour may very well be shorter than the 10 hours advertised.

  We had an amazing day. Started with our driver, Adi, who was very happy, helpful and a great driver. His car was very comfortable and good air conditioning. The snorkelling was amazing, so many fish (including a sea snake, jelly fish and clam). The snorkelling team did a great job and looked after us. We snorkelled for over 2 hours in two beautiful locations. Lunch was very yummy and ready when we arrived back. Then off to two waterfalls. Beautiful locations and well worth the trip.   We did our tour with ADI from Bali local host ! He was amazing ! Very friendly, safe driver and very good English ! We highly recommend him !
