  We cannot recommend Davide enough. We had a wonderful walking tour of Brescia. Davide obviously loves being a tour guide and his enthusiasm for history is very evident. He made the whole walk so interesting and the pace and amount of information was perfect for us. We will certainly be contacted Davide again if we are in the other areas of Italy where he gives tours.

  It was an incredible tour! Brescia’s full of historical, cultural and artistic gems on every step. Davide was very attentive and friendly. He shared his immense knowledge of the town and its people in a very relaxed, conversational manner.   We had a wonderful tour of Brescia with the kind and knowledgeable David. The more than two hour tour included discussions of sites including Castello di Brescia, the Capitolium, Chiesa di San Cristo, Duomo Vecchio, and more. Very much appreciated all the questions answered and taking time to explain both historical and contemporary life and culture of Brescia. Truly an unexpected delight in a unique city.   I decided to join my husband on a business trip to Italy and needed something to do while he was working, this tour was the perfect introduction to the town of Brescia. It felt more like a good friend just showing me around a beautiful city and sharing stories of a time long ago. Davide gave a lot of background on the history of the town, but also gave information on current events that were of interest for future visits. We walked to many sites where he gave a nice description that sparked my curiosity to want to learn more. After seeing much of the city we popped into a bar for a small snack and refreshing beverage where the owners welcomed us in and made us feel like one of the locals. Davide even helped translate with one of the shop owners so I could purchase some delicious cheese that was unique to the area. The city of Brescia has so much to offer its visitors and I hope you get the opportunity to take this tour on your next trip. It truly is a great experience!!   Davide was a wonderful guide and showed me so many parts of Brescia. He has a lot of passion and knowledge of the city history. We visited the castle, churches, Roman ruins, and showed me small interesting historical areas.

  I cannot recommend this tour enough. Brimming with positive energy, Davide’s 3-hour tour flew by, leaving us craving more! He showed us everything from 1st century Roman ruins to medieval churches, from Renaissance frescoes to Mussolini-era architecture…with a 16th century library, “important” paintings, and contemporary sculpture thrown in, just in case we weren’t 100% blown away. (Spoiler alert: We were!!) His stories are fascinating, his insights are thought-provoking and his post-tour suggestions, for both food and additional sights, are spot on. Umbrella Tours and Davide were by far the best and brightest of our numerous tours over the course of 3 weeks. I cannot oversell this-DO NOT MISS!!!! • Around Brescia with David

  We took a 3-hour tour of Brescia with Davide. Davide is an incredible guide with deep knowledge of the city and history. We have discovered so many things about the little known and underrated city in Italy. David took us to the Old Cathedral, to the church of San Cristo and showed us the hidden meridian in the cloister. That's incredible! David made us fall in love with the city.   Brescia is a beautiful city with many Roman and Medieval sites to see !! We are so happy that we had Davide from Umbrella Tours help us explore and learn about the city. His knowledge and jovial personality made our afternoon in Brescia a highlight in our vacation !
