  Had a great experience with Monticello wine tour. They helped us curate our custom tour and made excellent recommendations based on my wish list for the day. Our driver, Mark, was super nice and knowledgeable about the area. Would highly recommend them for a relaxing visit.

  We recently booked a private wine tour with friends through Monticello Wine Tours. Our "Experience Director" (because it feels a suiting title), Kmonte, was absolutely fantastic. He was personable, accommodating, professional, and ensured we had an amazing and relaxing day visiting Eastwood, Jefferson, and Blenheim Wineries. We will definitely book with Monticello Tours (and hopefully Kmonte) again! Note: We also highly recommend going on a Thursday if you enjoy more quiet, we were some of the only people at each winery.

  We had a great wine tour with Monticello! Greg was our guide and he was very friendly and accommodating. He was a great host and driver! We felt safe and we were on time to all of our bookings. We kept to our schedule perfectly! Greg was able to give us recommendations for going out in Charlottesville and he gave us info on the wineries as well. Planning and scheduling the tour was simple and we were able to give input to create our perfect day. We were able to bring our belongings with us and enjoy our drive time as well as our time at the wineries. We would definitely do this again!

  I had an amazing experience with Paige! The car was spotless, and Paige was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable. She knew exactly where to take us for some great wine spots, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire ride. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a smooth and pleasant journey with a touch of local expertise!

  My husband and I had the BEST experience on our wine tour with Zia on Monday!! Everything about this company is top notch, from the booking experience to the day of our tour. We booked this very last minute and without much knowledge of the area. We learned so much from Zia on some great things to do. The vehicle was spotless and the hospitality, excellent.   Our group of 6 chose to travel down to Virginia from Philly for our annual fall friends trip. We rented an airbnb in Wintergreen Resort with the main focus on visiting wineries. Monticello Wine Tour is one of the few companies in the area that offers pick-up/drop-off in Wintergreen without additional fees. Alisha was fantastic from the start helping us curate the perfect three stop winery day while maximizing time at each. Very communicative and on top of which wineries required reservations for our group size. She even called one of the wineries herself to help us move the reservation time to better suit our schedule. Alisha ended up being our driver for the day as well. She was an absolute pleasure to chat with throughout the day. We greatly appreciated your flexibility and kindness, helped make this one of the best annual friends trips yet!

  This was a great experience all around. Omid was our driver. He showed up early . He took our group photos. He got us to all our stops. We had snacks and drink in the van and played our music loud! He kept us on schedule. Would 100% use this company again and would ask for Omid to drive us! They called a week in advance to assist with our itinerary . We made it to 4 wineries and had an absolute blast!

  We reserved a tour for 4 people to visit some of the wineries. Prior to the tour Monticello was in touch with us to discuss the itinerary and which wineries we wanted to visit. They were great at making recommendations and planned an itinerary that allowed us to spend enough time at each winery, but yet flexible enough that we could also go at our own pace if we wanted. Holly was our driver and she was the best! She was good at keeping us on schedule, which I'm sure can be challenging after the wine has been flowing for a couple of hours. She also was very friendly and offered some ideas on what to do that evening. Overall it was a great tour and we had so much fun! Thanks Monticello and Holly!
