It is an important place to talk about Vietnamese or Southeast Asian history. I was not sure if it would be a reasonable cost to include transportation from Hanoi, but it was good to visit. If we had tried, we might have been able to get to the city center on our own by walking, etc., but we couldn't get to Bunker village on the outskirts without taking us. It is better to take them on a tour as they will use their money or strength to visit. The flight was one flight ahead of schedule, but I happened to be on my own, so I changed the time schedule and dealt with it. Sadly, he said he would send me a picture of him later, but he hasn't. I don't know if there's any circumstances.
Highly recommended for any interested in a history tour for 1 day

My tour guide James was excellent and very knowledgeable about the area and the history of dien bien, his English was very good as well. He was able to be flexible with my interests and take me to new locations I had not heard about before. We saw classic sites, more hidden gems and plenty of the beautiful nature as well. Lunch was homecooked and delicious. The jeep was a fine piece of history to ride in but still in great condition and our driver Son handled it well. Highly recommend for any historical or culturally interested travelers and tourists.

Fantastic tour. A must do for any Vietnam history fans. Tour lasted from around 8am to 5pm, covered all the historical sites from the battle of Dien Bien Phu and included a stop in countryside for nice vietnamese traditional lunch. Finished with coffee at excellent viewpoint. Knowledgeable tour guides who spoke good English. Highly recommended!
